I'm so sick and tired of all the bugs in this game. If ZOS can't fix this bug, at least eliminate the mechanic causing it. The parapet walls are useless as anything other than a trap to have the game delete your siege from your inventory at this time.
Can't report a bug because stuck in combat. Can't log out because stuck in combat. Can't mount or port because stuck in combat.
Massive fps drops coupled with massive lag.
....the list is long and illustrious and entering old age.
But if you guys can't fix the deletion of peoples items from their inventory due to a mechanic, you MUST eliminate the mechanic. I've lost six cold fire ballistas now due to placing them on the parapet walls on the corners of keeps, then when the keep downgrades, that siege is eliminated from a players inventory. That's right, ZOS HAS AN UNADDRESSED BUG THAT LITERALLY DELETES ITEMS FROM YOUR INVENTORY, AND THEY AREN'T ADDRESSING THE ISSUE! They aren't replacing the items that get deleted from you inventory either. They aren't responding to requests or reports of this repeated bug either.

seems that knowing that part of keep gets destroyed anything on it would too as siege couldn't handle fall damage there for destroying it automatically and any player on it would also take fall damage too you wouldn't set up something on them nor be on them when under attack

You’d think they would know about this and deal with it but my expectations continue to decline.
Oh well.

It's not. When you place the siege it leaves your inventory. Then when you pick it up it returns to your inventory.
Also, I never place cold fire ballistas at those walls, if I end up using that part I use fire ballistas. It's similar to a wall that's taking damage from enemy sieges, if I have a cold fire on those walls I always pack it up and either move to a different place or place a normal fire one.
As far as issues in Cyrodiil, this is one I really don't care about since it's very easy to avoid. If you lose 5 ballistas at that spot and place a 6th one... Maybe don't do that then since you are aware of how it works?
The combat bug, latency and lag are far worse issues, along with the exploit where players pick up a scroll while dying and time their deaths so they respawn with the scroll in their home base.
