I'm usually in the second camp - while I really look forward to the Holiday Season and spending quality time with my core family (hubby, kid, doggo), my brother/my sister-in-law and his/her horde of barbarian/know-it-all kids always manage to stress me out in the end.
But this year I pulled the shortest straw at work and thus I'm on call for the whole week and the weekend, and yes, I already had two emergencies so far. Thankfully I just need to revive servers and applications and not people, so if family stresses me out, I have an excuse to lock me in my office with my computer (and game away
