Can someone please explain twitch drops for console?

I have my Playstation AND my Elder Scrolls accounts linked to Twitch.

I have watched 3 of the “live” stream team streamers for at least 15 minutes each.

I do not see any drop notification on twitch. I do not have anything on my game account either.

So, my questions are, when do the drops actually drop?
Is it only 1 drop per day?
Should I be watching these streams longer to earn a drop?
Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Drops don't usually show up until the next day.

Can multiple drops be earned per day? Like 1 per stream or multiple from the same stream?

I assumed this meant after the first day of the event. The first day was yesterday for me. This is the second day of the event and nothing.

    Am I misreading?
    If nothing tomorrow then what?
Should I watch a stream every day?
    Multiple streams?
Are there multiple drops or just one per day?

First, check and make sure you're logged in to Twitch and have your account linked. I know personally, no matter how many times I've checked the "Keep me logged in" box, it never keeps me logged in. I have to manually do it every time. Plus, it never hurts to check and make sure.

Second, no you don't get multiple drops, you get one a day...no matter how many streams you watch or for how long. Though watching multiple streams does seem to help get your drop. That leads to....

    Third.
Drops are actually random. It's no guarantee that you'll get one for watching streams, you're watching for a chance to get a drop.

You'll always get a e-mail saying you've received a drop and it'll show up in game automatically.

    TL;DR
Make sure you're logged in, you get one drop a day, and drops are random not guaranteed.

First, yes, I logged in and yes I am certain everything is linked together.

Second, this part of my question you have answered. Thanks

Third, I realize that drops are usually normally random in regards to other games. However, the language used regarding THIS event does not read that it is a “chance”. In fact, it reads as if it’s a guaranteed drop. I keep trying to add the image of the announcement that states “Tune in for at least 5 mins to receive a drop” but it’s not showing.

I don’t know why this is marked as answered. It’s only partially answered. The wording says to watch for 5 minutes and get a drop. Does not say a “chance”. Some of my guildmates did receive a drop today. The rest of us got nothing.

I agree drops are very poorly done for this game. Took them longer than most to include console and its still a bit of a mess.

Event reads to watch at least 5 minutes and get a box. Nothing about a chance or anything else. However if you contact support they try to tell you that its a chance, only at the end of a stream (even though most streamers run for hours or even overnight, which would make it worse for viewers), and only "drop enabled streams" (though all events say all ESO streams are enabled).

To make things worse, instead of an email once you've met the requirements, they email you the next day when its added to your account. Which is too late to try again and get one.

Last event I didn't get a drop after hours of having twitch running and took almost a whole week of support telling me things that contradict their own site before adding a box.

I'd maybe understand all the hassle for normal crown crates but the freebies are 99% crap that gives you 4 to 5 crown gems per box. So most of the time getting all drops from one event won't even buy a cheap 16 gem item.

Exactly, it says to watch for 5 minutes. I’ve watched 3 of the stream team streams since the event started for a lot longer than 5 minutes and still got nothing. The language used in the description DOES NOT read that it is a chance and that is where my issue is. Some of my guildmates did receive drops from yesterday’s streams they viewed. Many of us didn’t though.

Devs for a different game I played said viewing from the mobile app would not work. I do made sure I had the laptop for viewing for these drops just in case it was the same for TESO.

I have received 2 in one day before - but it’s rare. Otherwise... my inbox pings at 7:11am PST with the drop notification each morning.
