They want PvP to be a bunch of one shots without any counters that would counter their own tools.

The only real counter to SnB block healing is to one shot them, otherwise you can't stop them from healing back to full.

    You can also zerg them.

Yes, it's annoying when some typical templar does this, standing in his rune. And he never uses his ultimate always keeping remembrance ready. And if even after remembrance you do another burst with cheaper ult, he dissolves to mist. And when he comes out of mist, 1 auto-tick of rally puts him almost back to full. At this point remembrance already recharged. Also he has like 40k resistances + free minor protection procs, so he just meditates after each cc-break when he knows your ultimate is not ready. Ah, and it is stage3 vampire in Pariah, combination which decreases damage of executioner to level of weak spammable even below 25% unless you use onslaught.. but after onslaught he just roll-dodges into LOS or mist.. or he got TK, so this is like 4k health recovery.. oh, and of course there are cc-immunity pots and unstoppable brute, if you thought that fear or knockback can be reliable way to burst him with your high damage build.

What do I mean? There are TON of ways of being almost immortal in 1v1 in Cyro (if you won't got loading screen or unbreakable cc-glitch), nerfing S&B again won't fix this.

Don't nerf sword and board (or anything else) just improve and increase the availability of counters (oblivion damage, defile, etc).

The typical Templar is a Stage 3 Vampire Stamplar wearing Troll King? Huh? Yea there's lots of ways to be tanky, but your typical zerger is sitting there SnB block healing, and so are dueling tournament champions.

I agree that un-nerfing the counterplay to block healing is the best solution. I'll still argue that blocking should have a stacking cost effect in PvP, since skillful tactical blocking would still be very powerful, but brainlessly holding down the block button would become a significant risk.

I don't think blocking is the problem. I think there are to many sets that provide absurd mitigation/healing
Sarcasm is something too serious to be taken lightly

I was born with the wrong sign
    In the wrong house
    With the wrong ascendancy
    I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
Used the wrong method with the wrong technique

Remember when the game had stuff like oblivion damage that didn't care how much mitigation a tanky player was wearing but that got nerfed, the bleeds that literally punished low damage tank players but was countered by high damage players with the self healing they had pre healing changes that are stronger now then that got nerfed. Also multiple forms of defile that got nerfed.

People wonder why there is a tank meta

Learn to block tactically with precise timing, instead of brainlessly holding RMB down. Players on damage shield and roll dodge builds do it, you can too.

The problem is you’re playing in CP enabled PvP, where you can O to the P any build as a tank. Add in the O to the Pness that is healing, and you have yourself a Tanky mag class that can also t bag you afterwards.

Self-healing (and sustain) is reduced in No-CP, but group healing is still ridiculously strong. Those CP solo tanky damage dealers can't even touch the stacks of healbots on No-CP, and I don't want any lame excuses that ESO PvP isn't designed for solo play. You can't keep a straight face and say this PvP is designed for serious competitive group play.

what are you even talking about?

no cp PvP is good but the game is competitive for solo play?

    wat

Eso literally was not designed for solo play. It’s an MMO, the Ms stand for Massive Mulitiplayer....

Solo play is intended according to ZOS. No cp is garbage as you literally can't do *** unless you are carried by your group.

To me it's the lack of sustain in no cp that I can't stand. I want to be free of heavy attacking.

I agree. But you have to realize most of them would choose CP campaign if it wasn't so laggy all the time.
