Maintenance for the week of September 8:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – September 8
• PC/Mac: EU megaserver for maintenance – September 9, 22:00 UTC (6:00PM EDT) - September 10, 16:00 UTC (12:00PM EDT) https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/682784
Logged on this morning after MX, my fps is normal around 100, but my ping which is normally 100-120 ish is now 300+ and does not drop. Anyone else having issues?
Thought it was just me. I checked my connections, checked my internet speed, removed all my addons to see if something in there was causing an issue. Double checked my ping from ping test which reported it should be about 105, which is around what it usually is. However, in game it's bouncing from 300 up to 999+; I'm "lucky" when it's at 240.
PC/NA
Mountain God | Leave No Bone Unbroken | Apex Predator | Pure Lunacy | Depths Defier | No Rest for the Wicked | In Defiance of Death
Defanged the Devourer | Nature's Wrath | Relentless Raider | True Genius | Bane of Thorns | Subterranean Smasher | Ardent Bibliophile
I am normally around 100 ping when not in a PvP zone. I'm sitting in a non populated area red barred with 311 ping and it doesn't go below 290. I can't even open and delete mail at a normal rate.
Usually I'm under 100 ping on PC NA (non-pvp zone). Everything was fine last night, then as soon as I logged in after maintenance I've been around 300 and red all day. Spiked to 586 a moment ago. Not seeing similar problems on other programs/games. never had problems with high ping on eso until today after maintenance.
Until now EU server lagged, has pings up to 16.000 ms (!), Cyrodiil was unplayable because of massive laggs, and sometime you have to wait for loggin. Crashes, disconnects and "control your internet connection" were normal at prime time.
And now?
EU server runs, and I have to wait to logg into NA server! Ping 370+ the whole 2 hours I was playing (before: 170 to 200). Laggs like only known from EU server.
What happens? Has ZOS changed direction of earth's axis?
this has been happening constantly for about a week before maintenance and well afterwards.
I have also been plagued by "can't find manifest" errors trying to login. (I tried this article but it did not resolve the issue. Only after I re-downloaded the client -> Deleted the Launcher and installed again did it work.)
ESO main website also takes about 15 mins to load even on a good day with 20mb/sec download speeds.
