What will bring a new chapter SKYRIM ?

- new morph skill tree for every class ?

- cp changes?

- big latency?

- new server ?

- more open pvpve world areas and worth items/ingredeints to farm/fight with/against other players ?

- every map has same every piece of crafting items ingredients so why not ZOS to make map where players need to fight for ingredients that drop only this one special area only in that one
map(for example imagine corn flower spawn only in cyrodil)?

- new pvevp zones wgere mobs have 100mil hp and they drop legendary items ?

- books where are stories that players can make quest where can be legendary drop ?

- new mechanics ?

- new experience and competitive enjoyment for end game after 810 cp ?

- end of crushing the day after update(maintance) every time after maintance server is unplayable?

- trials zones where factions need to fight to enter ?

- new skill and player character animation ,cmon its 2020 ?

or just it will be another riding mount simulator expansion with nice graphics with reading experience from point a to point b dificulty ???

I think the majority of us is more interested in a performance improvement (as promised by the improvement plan), don't really caring about where the next chapter/dlc takes place...

[insert obligatory comment about performance improvements] but aside from that:

Overland zones do feel drab for the high-end player. The zone environments and stories are generally amazing and well written, but there's not much substance to explore. I kinda wish we were rewarded for going off the beaten path and discovering unmarked secrets instead of just looking for quest markers and quest givers. Treasure Chests in most zones aren't worth looking for because their value is directly tied to the types of sets which can drop there, so most zones they aren't even worth the time to find them. Why aren't there any secret bosses, or rare enemy spawns with interesting loot in overland zones? How about some secret, unmarked quests?

I don't farm new dailies anymore because there's really no rewards for doing so aside from motifs, but there are so many of these in the game right now that it's kinda pointless if you aren't going to use them all anyway. More unique furnishings from dailies and actually useful armor sets would help (slightly) make them more worthwhile I think, like that Crimson Shard of Moonshadow from Vvardenfell dailies.

The writers and artists always do an excellent job creating good content expansions for this game. I expect more solid story/lore delivery as has been the standard for a number of years now. There is less room for creativity building a zone and story around areas we've already been before in the Elder Scrolls games, but it'll still be fantastic... contrary to the ridiculous cynicism of the opening poster. Many of us are here playing this game because we enjoy actual substance - story, lore, art, and interesting world spaces.

Calling it now, the expansion will be a generic Skyrim zone with a bunch of meh quests, no innovative open world changes, some sort of mini trial, a new laggy BG map, maybe some sort of guild or world skill line with a boring grind to unlock it, and no real, substantive changes to keep people playing.

Players that quit *might* come back and buy the expansion, then grind the new skill line and explore the new zone before realizing nothing really improved and quit again.

Not surprised it's Skyrim tbh. Probably hoping nostalgia will rope in new players and bring back old ones for the cash. For me personally the announcement made my eyes roll into the back of my skull. I am so, so sick of hearing the word Skyrim.

It could be their best dlc so far... it won't matter one damn bit to those of us that left (and those considering leaving) if they don't stick to their performance promises and actually deliver on them.
They're not going to. It's going to be another band-aid fix, only this time it'll be a bigger, shinier band-aid!... Except the wound it's being applied to is so *** enormous that it just slides right off.

If ZOS can get a handle on performance issues, I'll pay $15 for ESO+ to play the quest line if it looks interesting enough, and then let it lapse after a month. If they take a year to work things out, well then I'll sit this one out. This is my issue: hype for a popular (albeit, saturated) title to the neglect of substantive performance improvements. A bit bleak, but you could be right. I'd say at this point there is no significant 'TES V' pull factor. It's does not appear to be aimed at ES players joining ESO for nostalgic reasons (like Morowind) as it's a continuation of an ongoing storyline. Neither does it hold something novel (like Summerset/Elseweyr). So, odd as it may sound at first, is Skyrim in fact set to be the most mundane new zone added since the start of ESO? I'm kind of puzzled about this choice tbh.
Please stop making requests for game features. ZOS have enough bad ideas as it is!

One thing I missed about playing another mmo is that its abbreviated name worked very well when the game was having problems with players staying connected. It became known as Dis-Connected Universe Online.

Overall I don't really have many issues. I have only encountered 3.

I have had one disconnection during game play; otherwise my disconnection is my fault as I forget to shutdown the application on my PS4. Normally not shutting down the application for an online game like ESO doesn't cause the system to provide an error report but with ESO it has every day I forget to first shut down the game. If I shut the game down and than go into it I don't have a problem. This was't like this until the update but it takes less than 30 seconds to resolve the issue.

The second issue I have encounter is in the middle of a quest the quest giver will tell me to meet them as a specific location. I go there and wait; 3-5 minutes pass and my map shows them right where I am standing. I log out and log back and there they are. Not sure why that is happening but it isn't fun when you are questing and need to relog because the quest giver vanishes but is showing on your map.

The third issue I find to be fairly common in areas where there are many players, such as when I visited Wayrest over the weekend. That was the first time in a while I have experience latency/lag issues on ESO. Last time I saw lag that bad was when ESO first launched on PS4 and everyone was hanging out in Daggerfall.

Overall my experience with the game hasn't been bad; thought it could be better.

I have to admit that having a character in the game outline the studio's quest design system probably did more harm than good. I know I can't change it, but is it fun enough to keep acting out the Saving the World trope? Or is it just getting too tedious?

Trying over and over again to get an impossible result is going to lead to burnout. It's just a matter of when.

You can put lipstick on a pig but it's still a pig.

No amount of shiny new content is going to out do fixing the core issues that plague TESO. Unfortunately the yearly business model is to release a new cash grab of a Chapter release and supporting DLC, ignore long standing issues and community concerns, ignore play tester input to said new content and play lip service to better communications & pledge to fix everything with little to no actual fixes.

This recent announcement should be called Year: More of the Same. ZOS is not demonstrating a change in their commitment to the community. ZOS is in the milk the product for all they can before it goes down due to mismanagement and lack of follow through.

Really wish I was long as I do think it has so much potential left if ZOS would just get their act together.

I would like to see them bring something entertaining to the game. Something that would be fun to do along with a friend or two that is a break from activities the game currently offers.

-They could bring out a bunch of new instrument emotes that are synced together so when one person uses the instrument emote, anyone else using instrument emotes would be playing in rhythm with the same song. Bob's playing Red Diamond on the /lute? Oh wow! I am too on my /flute! B) In the game Starbound, there is a similar thing. It's fun to get a bunch of friends together and jam out on your instruments.
Maybe even a dance-off! Winners get some cool costumes, hats, masks, etc.

-They could introduce a carnival of sorts. There could be mini-games that have special UIs and mechanics.
An archery game where you need to destroy targets without any auto-lock.
A fishing competition between other people, each has their own fishing hole and see who catches the most fish. Maybe the top winner gets a perfect roe, a gold fishing trophy furnishing, or gold, whatever.
Card games, dice games, throwing games. These could have special physics involved for the throwing games. Maybe the dice game is purely luck of the roll. Maybe card games have cards that you can earn, win, & trade on guild stores. Maybe they could even be crafted? :o
Kiosks that sell festivity related garb with gold, tickets, tokens, what have you! Cards, unique dice, poker face masks, fireworks, food, anything fun and useful.

-A spectator mode for your friends doing various instanced arenas, dungeons, trials, etc. Not everyone streams, and it would be fun to peak in on your friends and maybe even pick up a few tricks by viewing others who are really good at what they do in ESO. Don't want to be spied on? Have an option in the Settings menu to opt out of being spectated!

-Races with betting! Get dressed up in your fanciest costumes and go to the races! Place bets on various races. Guar races, horse races, senche races. There were a few race games that were quests in this game that I can remember (lizard one in Alik'r Desert and frog one in Auridon) but they were NOT REWARDING!
Currently, players can gamble by spending crowns on crown crates. Well, there should also be a way for players to gamble in the game using gold! It would be cool if you could enter your own mounts in the races as well. Perhaps after you've maxed all riding skills on your mounts, there is a new racing skill to level up.

-Speaking of mounts, can we say "two-seater mount training please!" Or maybe a side-saddle mounting option (it looks weird riding a mount while wearing a dress.) Possibly a water sport training? Mounted combat training! Duel friends on mounts in a special arena for such things.

-PvPers need a break too. What about allowing players to queue for ultimate supremacy in dueling battles! Make a cutoff time for entries and then go! Have this done in a special arena in Cyrodiil. Make the rewards be a large sum of gold, AP, a rare costume only won by this challenge.
There could also be siege contests. See who can destroy the most targets or structures in a stages area with a set amount of siege in a set amount of time. Make the rewards be AP, coldfire ballistas, recall stones, or something very special that is useful only in PvP zones.

-A labyrinth. This labyrinth could be loaded with traps, enemies, and is never the same. Each time you attempt it, the layout changes so it cannot be done the same way every time. Make it many floors, with a few mini-bosses even! The reward for reaching the bottom could be a mount only obtained by successfully completing this labyrinth.

I could go on more as I have a lot more ideas but I want to play a game now. Just who is on the "creative team" for this game anyway? Introducing entertaining alternatives to the normal content should not be so difficult. :'(
"But screw your courage to the sticking-place,
    And we’ll not fail."
