CP cap 160? on crafting?

I've already got a level CP 180 and noted that none of the potions I make are good for over cp160 and ditto for weapons and armor. Is that really the cap on crafting? and if yes, so means never really can make great armor for anyone over cp160? or, Im missing something?

    You’re correct, @EternalDiva ... CP160 is the gear and consumables cap.

    Good news is you are past the Level Scaling. So your stats are true.

    Also, the gear you make or find or improve now will never get leveled out.

    All gear is as good as its going to get at CP 160, though you can improve the color/quality for some benefits. Extra CP beyond that serves to give your character more effective attribute points, fill out the champion point trees, and unlock the champion point perks.

    No gear pots or food exist for greater than CP 160, so as far as food, gear, and pots are concerned you are CP 160 now.
