Crimson Wing might be able to offer you what you are seeking. We are a worldwide guild with members in many different countries, so we have people on and around 24/7. Here are some other things that may interest you.
    • We are on the NA server, Aldmeri Dominion
    • We have been around since 1996, and our members are loyal to one another
    • Our rules are very simple and common sense
    • We understand people have significant others and lives, and therefor everything is optional
    • Many of the people in our guild are married or gaming couples
    • We use TeamSpeak as our primary line of communication (which is optional)
    • We are what we jokingly refer to as casual hardcore, and are here to have fun

If you think this fits your criteria of a good guild, please check out...

    Hi @lycanslerwb17_ESO
<Grin> is a casual guild of friendly players, many of whom have been in "top tier" guilds in previous games, but want a friendlier environment with less strict of a schedule. We have a solid core of members who've played together throughout the beta. We even won "runner up" in the beta guild contest, with a member-base of roughly 200 beta testers. We range from PvP purists, to PvE only players, to crafters, and everything in between.

    Our rules are fairly basic:

    1) Teamwork above all else. Through teamwork, everything else comes naturally.
    2) Bigotry of any kind will absolutely not be tolerated. We have members from all backgrounds, and we enjoy our diverse community.
    3) You must download teamspeak3. You do not have to talk, or even own a mic, but it will be required for any pvp or pve guild groups and events.
    4) No spamming or scamming.

We prefer players who are 18 or older. You are welcome to join multiple guilds while being a part of <Grin>.

If you would like to join, post here or send myself (@ghastlygrin), or @Empjoy, mail in game.

    Hi lycanslerwb17_ESO,

You would be more than welcome in my guild. Although I personally can't teach you about teamspeak, others within my guild may be able to. However, we currently do not have a guild voice chat right now. I say others may be able to as they have experienced a myriad of voice chat programs. I am not sure if a voice chat in necessary for you or more convenient given life circumstances.

As far as other advice, my guild would almost certainly be able to help you there. Our guild, the Fangs of Ironglaive, has drawn a mature friendly crowd who would be more than willing to help you out. We are a PvE, crafting, trading, and social guild looking to create a community here on ESO. As a guild we want to try PvP later, however I am sure there are a few people who would join you in PvP now if you so asked.

In general if you ever need anything in game feel free to type so in the guild chat and I'm sure that several people will jump to help you out. We are understanding of all life circumstances, from disabilities to spouses to job functions, etc. If you have any questions don't hesitate to message me either here or in-game. Hope to hear back from you!

Thank you so much, have started filling out your web page, have added one character, but ill add the other tomorrow, just need to change a few things as i made a mistake when making my char and started all over again.Imam glad don't all use teamspeak atm, as i cannot get my pc to accept it. So how do i become a member please, I'll be in game everyday, for short periods up until Tuesday, then longer periods after Tuesday. Some times my hubby plays, but he is a real noob, and dose not know how to chat.I hope that is not a problem.

Great to hear it! Currently just replying to me like this is fine :-) On our webpage it says to fill out an application but don't worry about it, its currently disabled. Anyway just message me your user id or your full character name and I should be able to invite you no problem. Also if you could do the same for your husband that would be great. Can't wait to see both of you in game!

Hubby's name is LadyBallcrusher, and I am Kat the Bloody. We had to start all over again when i discovered our builds was all wrong. Wont take us long to level. one thing, my husband has no idea about chatting, so he is not being rude in game, just that if im asleep, he will ignore chat box until i teach him. so, can you tell me how to chat to clannies, i did try earlier, but nothing happened.
    Thanks.

Of course, you access the chat by first hitting the enter button (on the keyboard) to auto-select the typing line. Alternatively, you could open your inventory or any other character menu where mouse appears and actually click on the chat window in the lower left corner.
There are several different chat channels. The default chat channel is the say channel or /say. This channel is for short range and only those right next to you can see the text. The next channel that most people talk in is the /zone chat. That chat can be seen by everyone in the entire zone (In example, all of Auridon or all Grahtwood, etc.)
The chat we talk in as a guild is the guild chat. Now since one can have up to 5 guilds, there are 5 separate guild chats. When you join a guild, each is assigned a number which corresponds to their guild chat channel. So your first guild that you joined/created will be guild 1, or /g1 in the chat. Your second guild will be guild 2 or /g2, and so on and so forth.

Now, in order to actually talk in these channels, one must choose which channel to talk in. You can do this by hitting enter or selecting the chat bar with the mouse. Once this is done, you type one of the above commands (/say, /zone, /g1, etc.) and this chooses which channel you will speak in. You don't need to enter this every time unless you need to change from one channel to the other.
After you type the message you want to say and hit enter again. Shortly thereafter you will see what you wrote in the default chat color for that particular channel (white for say, yellow-ish for zone, green for guild, blue for private messages, etc).

There are tabs at the top of the chat window that can be used view only messages from a certain source at a time. To do that, you first create the tab by hitting the plus button (+), name it, and then hit ok. Afterwards you select the new tab and hit the little gear button in the top right of the chat window. This allows you to alter which channels you see in that particular tab.

I think that covers everything that could possibly be asked about ESO chat. If at any point I wasn't clear or I didn't actually answer your question feel free to tell me so I can fix that.

I'm a bit confused though, are you and your husband sharing an account? Or should I invite your husband into the guild as well if he has his own account?

well, yesterday i could not log in for ages, then whenever jumped the game would put me in the sky. Then i had very bad lag, which is unusual because i have a very good rig. I have it fixed now, as i reported it, and they showed me how to repair the files.
