    With 600CP imo, just switch.

Obviously you don't play this way if you've played since the start on console, but if you wanted to grind, there's no reason you couldn't be 600CP again before your mount was even 60 speed.

I would recommend the change from console to PC. I played on both Xbox EU & NA (810) and started on PC from scratch. Now 500cp my only regret is I should have made the change sooner. I find the PC community to be better and the ability to use addon's is amazing. I decided to play on the NA server and being from the UK the server is active around the clock. In all it made me appreciate ESO more starting from the beginning again. :)

I switched from Xbox One X to PC and I left a 760 cp Warden and all dlc plus crown crate mounts behind. That was in July and now I am 985cp all dlc and expansions and I haven't looked back. The only thing I miss is my old house which I plan to buy on PC.

P.S I have a RTX 2700 and a I5 9400 6 core and my fps is a almost constant 60 fps @4k. Also thanks to my m.2 SSD load times are cut way down compared to my Xbox One X.

If I'm honest, I understand why characters aren't transferable, but I think it's stupid that your purchases don't carry over. Having to replace things is my only real regret, especially since half of them aren't available anymore.

One of the reasons Microsoft and Sony allow games on to their platform is that they receive revenue sharing, so when you purchase items there, they get a chunk of it. So if you wanted items and purchases to transfer someone has to compensate the platform you are moving to.

If you move PC to XB1 or PS4, Zeni would have to pay them whatever percentage they normally get to duplicate your purchases. Swapping from console to PC, Zeni would effectively be paying themselves, as they only received a portion of whatever you paid for those items on console and neither Sony or MS is going to give them money to offset duplicating those purchases on the PC platform.

It would be a much less frustrating issue if Zenimax hadn't monetized so many aspects of this game.

Moving to PC shouldn't cause any issues at all, it's just ZOS and no third party. It's literally just item codes they'd have to copy over, I chalk it up to pure laziness.

Correct, but you are asking Zenimax to basically duplicate those purchases for no or at least significantly reduced compensation. When you purchased those items on PS4/XB1 they only received a small compensation, the majority went to Sony and MS. Now don't get me wrong, I'd love if they just duped everything for you if you switched to PC, after all they have control over that unlike the reverse, but you are also asking the company to forego profits, which is a big ask, albeit it one I'd love them to agree to.

So when you ask them to duplicate the PS4/XB1 purchases, you are asking them to give you free stuff, because they received little to no compensation when you made those purchases on another platform (I don't know the specifics of their deal, but that is how it works generally).

It's never been a technological issue, it's strictly fiscal and they want the money from when you repurchase...

The game no longer runs well on console as of a few patches ago, @Anotherone773 . The game was running with few issues until very recently.
Not true, unless your few equals last 30 or 40 updates. PS4 has problems with pretty much every single content patch. Its becoming more prevalent as ESO requires better and better software to run which is 100% normal for a healthy MMO. PS4 is simply outdated. Xbox fairs a little better.
How do you know that console’s problems aren’t ALSO related to nearing/exceeding server population limits? PC EU doesn’t just get a free pass from your criticisms because it’s PC
The same way i know that a broken bone isnt the flu.
Also, in that thread, people aren’t just complaining about log in issues; they’re complaining about severe lag, skills not firing, whole groups freezing, full groups crashing...essentially, what we’re dealing with right now on console.

Im not going to give an education class on how computers work for the 50th time this week. Server side issues have a very specific set of symptoms, client side issues have a very specific set of symptoms. Im not going to go through every symptom with every hardware configuration and explain why it is or isnt server side. But consider this, ZOS admitted the problem players had on ESO as a large group were server side. They are working on the console side and that has to do with client and the hardware not being able to handle the game. So they will have to "fix" the game by trying to find a workaround for the hardware limitations.
Are you going to accuse PC EU users with high end systems who experienced what we’re experiencing of “hardware issues”?
I dont get what your getting at it. PC EU was a server side problem. There will be people on PC EU that have potato PCs and the game runs badly and they will have posted in that thread but it was server side for a large majority of them.

The forums will tell you that when PC users have a problem as a large group its because of server issue, when console players have problems as a group its because they play on a budget system not built for an MMO and definitely not one of this scope.

    Such a sad, predictable response.

PC is way better if your machine can handle it, fewer crashes and better frame rates. I found console to be unplayable. Addons are great too, I don’t understand how anyone can find items in guild traders without TTC or work on their DPS without CMX.

so ive been playing eso since it launched on xbox. Im at champion points 600 and ive got 8 characters at champion rank. Ive unlocked alot of pets etc. ive also been paying eso+ since the launch.

my question is, is it worth losing all of my progress and 1000s of hours on the game to get it on pc. I never had a decent pc when the game launched but now ive got a good pc that can run the game.

whats the pros for switching to pc.

    thanks for any help

Probably not unless you want better performance. And even then it would only reeealy be worth it for pvp. And even then I dont think its worth it because the time it would take to get back to max cp and get most of your things back. Its just not worth it imo, not for a game with devs like this one has.

ive tried to switch permanently many times for better pvp performance, but whos to say zos wont wreck something else and make PC run like garbage like console does? And then ignore the issue for years as they do.
