    - Getting flawless on my stamblade (1st time getting flawless too) at 3am during the Wrothgar event. I was also able to do it in under 10 runs. Was a huge goal of mine to get it before my 10th run and bam, lucky run number 9!
    - Hitting 810 (took me roughly a year and a half)
    - Healing my first vet trial
    - Maxing out my crafting on my main
    - Getting all the dungeon personalities and majority of the skins. Curse you Falkreath.
    - Completing vBRP

    And last but not least
    - Beating the guy who was helping me learn pvp. Had been dueling and losing to him since before I had a single cp. Felt amazing to finally win bc I was growing stronger and wasn’t beating him bc of a fluke.

I quit the game. Or at least taking an extended break from it.

Not because of meta changes and similar stuff. Just burned out. I really feel like that’s an achievement in itself, MMOs are hard to quit. I still occasionally read the forums to check on the game and still follow updates though.

    Hmm.

I would have to check the achievement dates in game...

    But I believe I successfully :

Had my PvE guild, Oriflamme, kind of take off, and I got several achievements with them.

    Unlocked Beast personality (vMoS).
    vFH skin.
    vRoM skin.
    ...
    Cleared vMHK HM.
    vBRF HM.
    vFL HM.
    ...
Flawless Conqueror. (This one was long overdue, I just woke up a morning and decided to do it after 6 months without a vMA run, got it first try)

Got promoted to the core group of my trial guild, and I cleared for the first time with them:
    vHRC HM
    vAA HM
    vSO HM
    vMoL HM
    vHoF HM
    vAS+1
    vCR+1
    vSS HM

    Reached 810 CP.
Broke 80k dps on 21M dummy and 40M on 3/6M dummies. (My highest dps ever is on this patch, dragonhold)
    ...

    And most importantly...

Reached 6 stars on the forums.

This year was trial year. I really got to the endgame, I also met some very nice people.

On the other hand, like last year, I didn't really played that much. I still have to complete Murkmire, Northern Elsweyr on my main (I did it on my necro), and I still have to take a step in southern Elsweyr, the prologue doesn't count.

I totally dropped doing crafting writs.

I hope the game is fixed by next chapter. I'm not really having that much fun right now. If it wasn't for the people I'm playing with I'd rather focus more on other games.

Only been playing for 1.5 years, so many new things happened, but here are some:

    - reaching CP810
    - joining guilds - never did MMO's before so it was a new experience to actually talk to others while playing
    - vDSA and getting the Master bow at the 1st run
    - trying a healer and really liking it, after being only a dd
    - setting foot in vTrials:
    vHRC
    vAA
    vSO HM
    vAS
    vCR
    vMOL

I understand. I had 2 breaks from the game myself. But I keep coming back. There is no other game that can keep my attention.

The funny part is: While it is fun to chase achievements, the times that i enjoy the game the most, is when i go back to leveling, or trying out fun but no so OP builds, or explore and just enjoy the scenery, music, etc.

edit: Aaah typo's, and that on a Monday morning! Shame on me :-)

Thanks for the reply. MMOs are hard to completely quit imo. They require lots of attention and you spend an enormous time with the game, especially when you go for endgame stuff. Whenever I had short breaks, I was always coming back.

I might try leveling a new character and explore the new zones, it might be the endgame stuff that made me burn out. I did both endgame PvE and PvP, focused on housing, social aspects of the game, some trading, and I definitely felt like the game became a chore rather than something I enjoy. Lately I couldn’t really get hyped up by the Season of the Dragon either. I’ll probably return to the game in the future though. I‘ve been saying that for almost a year now.

It might be the casual stuff that will grab my attention again. Or an amazing DLC/Chapter. We’ll see.

Went over 100m gold, bought all houses, then donated 20m to my trade guilds; recouped all of that in about 5 months.
Fully trained 4 more characters for a total of 10 - 2 of each class, except Necromancer
Leveled 3 necromancers 50 for a total of 18, 2 of those I will train next year, one will stay as auxiliary
Did Flawless Conqueror on my Stamina Templar on her first vMA run, my only Flawless thus far; I mostly run it only once per character since I have all the gear (9 bows, 6 infernos, 2-3 pairs of axe/dagger and loads of the others).
Left my PvE guild because I was bored stiff of trials and dungeons, they're a chore; most players weren't much better than PUGs anyway.
Explained mechanics in dungeon dozens of times, ~10% actually listened and pulled trough; PUGs actually listened more carefully on average.
Did Conquering Hero, Grand Champion, Bloodletter and a few others 3 characters. I can play BGs all day long and not get as tired as I get in an hour of PUG trial or dungeon.
    Gained ~450 more useless CP.
Beta tester since February 2014, played ESO-TU October 2015 - August 2022, currently on an extended break

Seeing through the marketing BS of ZOS and saying no to artificial scarcity and FOMO.

I finally got over things and accepted that I just am not the target audience for this game. I suffer from completionism and gotta-catch-them-allitis just as much as the next lad, but I no longer fret about this or that collectable or cool thing placed behind an artificial effort barrier (or real money shortcuts), and can just say no to all the engineered grind and busybody work and instead enjoy the parts ofthe game that do not feature such BS.

Sure, I may miss plenty of content, but neither will I find myself slaving away in the salt mines of Tamrilando. I can spend much more time on other things. Things that do not place artificial hurdles in front of my enjoyment.

If the grind fest of ESO is your thing (I mean, some people find such tasks relaxing - to each their own and all that) then good for you, but it certainly ain't for me. Moving from a year round constant sub, to subbing for 3 or 4 months over the year in order to play through the new story content, is much more enjoyable model for me.

DO NOTE - this is my opinion. Mileage may vary.

My awesome guild whose experience was built from ground up managed to get this year
    - January - Dromathra Destroyer (before it was super easy ;p )
    - September - Immortal Redeemer
    - October - Bringer of light

This year was generally very successful because even though we had people come and go, majority of the core team was the same and we managed to get multiple number ones on weekly and patch leaderboards on PS4 EU.

We gave a lot of experience to people who aren't in our core which is also good. The more people can efficiently do all content the better for the entire end game community.

Next year, hopefully Gryphon heart, Tick Tock... Unfortunately since the last patch getting these achievements was impossible due to the console blue screens and kinda dreadful performance.

PS, congratulations on everyone's achiements :)

I think my best accomplishments are:

    1. Soloing DLC dungeons on my Magicka Necromancer. I didn't think it'd be possible for me, but managed it quite nicely. Considering how the build worked out, I think I could probably practice soloing Vet DLC dungeons next!
    2. Winning a BG with a very good score without dying once. You know when you get into a pvp situation where people keep coming at you over and over, but you manage to somehow survive the onslaught and keep scoring kills? Kind of like a video game bloodlust, in a way! I had a BG match like that. Probably my best one so far! Sure, PVP pro's will probably not see anything special there, but as a person who is trying to get into PVP more seriously, I was very proud of my Magcro :).
