Im not a console player myself but out of curiosity is there a post relating to this? I wasn't under any impression ZOS had run console updates through manufacturers but that'd be super interesting if they did. Is there proof of that?ZOS has to run changes for the console through the manufacturers, so you’ll just have to keep suffering.

I don't know if there is a post, but Sony and MS require all games and patches go through a process called certification or cert before they allow use. This causes a delay between PC and console version updates of games in most cases. You can google Xbox certification or PS4 certification for your proof the process exists.

yeah certification process takes a handful of days... just so you know... for problems like this to last months on end is not the fault of certification - but on ZOS for not even submitting the fixes to cert to begin with.

ZOS also uses PC players to live test patches for consoles, so there’s that too.
