I don`t understand what we are suppose to get with this event other than event tickets and double the items. Can someone tell me what there is to this event?

There are dragon bounties that appear in the crown store and dragonhold sanctum. I don't know if they're dailies but they have blue daily arrows.

Depending on who you talk to you get much more than double drops and tickets.

I've already gotten a lot of fun out of it helping other players complete objectives.

If you're looking for something tangible ... the Impresario sells other items for tickets during the event dates only.

Yeah. I`m doing the dailies and getting the 2 tickets along with helping other players. That`s it though, quit boring and so I will run the trials, Thx.

It’s literally just kill dragons for event tickets and double drops.

It’s very lackluster, even Jester Festival is better on that front

That's what ESO events are: They double the drops on certain areas or enemies and for the last year give event tickets too. That's it.

New Life has 5 or 6 short 'mini game' quests to cycle through, but that's the most they've ever done for adding new content.

For the first few years I kept hoping they'd do more. When the Witches Festival was first introduced I thought maybe they were easing themselves into it, trying out the concept of a festival and would gradually add actual content - new quests, decorated or otherwise changed locations, maybe something like groups of witches appearing outside towns summoning daedra (like the bandits, failed sorcerers etc. you can randomly find outside towns). But by now I've given up on hoping for anything more than the bare minimum because it's just not happened.

If they ever do start making real festivals I'll be very happy, but for now the most we can hope for is extra drops on the same stuff that's always going on.

    It’s very basic.

    Get rewards for killing dragons.

Very fast in Southern Elsweyr (the Alik’r of dragon slaying), very, very tedious in Northern Elsweyr (long spawn times and few other people to do the killings). It’s a mark of how badly designed Northern Elsweyr is that you can get the ‘kill dragon’s minions’ achievement in 2 days in Southern Elsweyr, but still be way off getting it after almost 6 months in Northern Elsweyr.

Sunspire is fun to do with lots of drops, but they have missed a trick in the DLC dungeons by only having the final bosses drop double loot, which might be fine for vet HM, where you’ll get double motifs, but is fundamentally no incentive for players who weren’t doing those dungeons to do them. And there is no coherent logic to it as there are no dragons in Depths of Malatar or Frostvault.

Everything else is the same as it ever was....

It's similar to the other ESO events. Double loot drops n farming nodes are richer in event zones.

Events are fine, maybe you expect a little too much. If we look at wow event that ended today or yesterday, it was around thanksgiving, where you were basically required to take daily quests and cook festive food, and if you manage to do few achievements you could get attire or hat or something like that as a prize. The scope of the event is to level cooking faster than usual and also cheaper since the mats during the event for festive food are available in large quantities.

So as you can see, Eso events are pretty industry standard, wow guys in this time could level cooking and get attire.

Now imagine if that was here, first complain we would see on the forum would be from the players that maxed out provisioning, waaaat, what's in the event for me, I maxed out provisioning, no fun for me???

Secondly, no special drops there, just some achievements.

So enjoy your double drops and double mat farming, at least you can let yourself go with your farming urges. So basically it is not so much different from other industry leaders.

The annoying part for me is that you get a single ticket for killing a dragon in each zone, rather than two tickets from your first dragon, as in other events, or a ticket from any two dragons. Having to do a DLC dungeon for the third ticket, which is a make-up for a cancelled event, just seems petty.

Not petty, they are selling DLC or ESO+ and they are not hiding it.

You can’t die the jade part of the helmet or shoulders lol. Fugly! I did get a Dragonguard chest doing a daily (that I would have done anyway).

This 4th quarter content seems phoned in. Like the final part of that house is a portal to a crappy lil house worse than that house on stilts in Khenarthi’s Roost (the first house I ever bought). Ah well...

Ok let's be more realistic and honest here, Undaunted really crashed the EU server to the point that people were not able to log in, not much choice than to cancel it, when people cannot freaking log in. I would not go into conspiracy theories here. And yes, this one is to promote Eso+ and dlc sales, but if this one completely crashed the service to the point of people unable to login, I'm pretty sure they would cancel this one too.

yeah the fact you have to own the chapter for one ticket, and the 2nd ticket you need either dlc or dungeon dlc to get for this event is damn near criminal. All other holidays for event tickets have been base game..

EU has been in shambles for years now, no improvements made, I honestly doubt any improvement have even been properly attempted.

Group Finder has been borked for years, even worse than before their “fix” which made it completely unusable for BGs and basically wrecked it for dungeons.

Cyrodiil has been deteriorating in performance since launch, with no improvements, nor any apparent attempts at improvement (unless you count Faction Lock as a performance improvements)

My point was not that they canceled the events to sell more tickets, but they sure don’t make much of an effort to fix the foundational systems for free events

I feel like I'm misreading this really badly. xD There is no third ticket, and the current event has nothing to do with the Undaunted event (which will start shortly after this one ends)?

The dreaded Thieves Guild/Dark Brotherhood event. Clockwork City event. Wrothgar event. Vvadenfell event.

Granted they’ve turned on the ESO+ free trial for some of those, but not all, or for the entire event.
