Not even 10 minutes into it and the latency in Elsweyr is terrible, I have a ping way over 200, my connection to the NA Server would be better. So obviously the server didn't got updated, players just stopped playing the last days because the server is so terrible.

If there were farmable rewards then yes, you might expect worst load at peak hour. But you need to kill 1 dragon in a day... which means that load will be distributed, with exception of moment of event start. Maybe I'm wrong of course, but at the undaunted for example everything was working fine three hours after event start (and before cancel was announced)... peak of problems were exactly in 1st hour.0 -

✭✭Had interesting Things happen with one Dragon. Its Health was at 0 but it still started flying instead of just dropping dead and did so in slow Motion and made a whole sweep only to instantly drop dead the second it landed again.
Also crashed just now without any error message, just booted to Login screen.Politeness is respecting others.

The dragons in skyrim used to do the same thing. They didn't know they were dead until they hit the ground. 😀0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I'm just glad that the dragons last long enough that I can use the event to level up my tank DK (currently level 17) without having too much trouble doing enough damage to get credit.
That and the servers seem to be coping. I got noticable lag spikes when the fights started, but that's to be expected when several people start attacking with lots of different effects, plus whatever the dragon is doing. buttaface✭✭✭✭✭Did 15 dragons in SE with no lag, disconnects or weird behavior whatsoever between 1:30-3:00PM EST while lots of others were doing the same thing in the zone with no zone chat complaints, so all good for me and those people so far.
I didn't even do a daily just started killing dragons and pretty sure I got a ticket on the first kill. Do you have to actually turn in a quest to get the ticket or just kill a dragon? Seems the latter.0 -
