Who does combat metrics think did the other 0.2 percent of the damage? a butterfly?
there is a ghost town in se right now on eu server and i cant do the dailies for dragon guard because people are out getting drunk or something? dont they know they have a responsibility to the folks in SE?

I often find combat metrics is a bit squiffy. Sometimes I do 104% of the damage (literally overkill) and then, mysteriously, in some dungeon content I appear to do almost none...
I often think the game would be more interesting if we only had CM in practice situations (so we would know if we were improving) and not in the wild. That way maybe we’d judge success on whether we’d actually killed the boss rather than our DPS.

That is why I am glad we don’t have CM on consoles, as it lessens the emphasis on dps and more on ‘do we know the mechs & can we kill it in a decent amount of time without too many dying’ which is a much more fun way of approaching the game 😁6 -

✭✭✭✭✭I think it's because combat metrics sometimes starts to count damage slightly to late or slightly to early resulting with values slightly under or slightly above 100%. For example if combat metrics didnt consider Your 1st hit as Your hit because it didnt started calculating Your damage yet then for combat metrics that 1st hit was done by someone else.Edited by Juhasow on November 25, 2019 1:57AM2 -
