Was standing near a castle and I was insta killed, no red warning etc. Recap said 3 lethal arrows and some other stuff. No big deal right ? It all happened in less than a sec, how does someone get 3 lethal arrows off in under a sec?
Second point -bar swap is random in either it works or doesn’t, unbelievable, can’t even bar swap half the time. Then there’s the skills that just won’t work, some guy is running around and you stand there mashing buttons and nothing happens.
PS4 NA.
And of course, there’s the blue screens, loading screens etc.

Emothic✭✭✭✭Because Campaing stability is a f-ing joke in this game now. You're getting killed so quickly because the server isn't telling you that you are getting hit. Latency, lagging, whatever your may want to call it. Same thing when trying to swap bars and use abilities. The stability in this game is a joke. It doesn't even have to be on your end either. I'm playing on the Xbox One X with a 2TB SSD external, with 225 mb/s download and 15 mb/s upload. All of this and I still get the same problem as you do. Server Kills, bars not swaping, abilities not activating, game crashing (even for small fights), game freezes, and even load screens.

That someone was playing normally on thier end...the server just decided not to register it on your end until you died.
What looked like someone hitting you with a ton of abilities at once is what's called desync around these parts.
It seems like cheating, but players have no control over it. Keep that in mind before you start whispering someone how they cheat.

They weren't taking it out on the player, they were trying to understand how someone would be able to or how the system would allowed someone to do what they did in this situation. As well with the other points they brought up, it indicates that they know it's not the player who actually did this, but some form of failure in the system, and was asking how it happened.

You are experiencing server lag and mini rollbacks. It's not you, it's not your console, it's not your internet... it's the hamsters on coffee break again.3 -

My post wasn't directed at the OP, just in general.
Can't tell you how many times I get whispered (on my magSorc, no less. I don't even use snipe on my nightblade) about how I'm cheating because my burst seemingly lands all at once. I get accused of using macros, and I play on PS4.
I can see how it looks like it was directed at the OP, but it was a general FYI.

I've been hoping they fixed this since the game launched on consoles over 4 years ago now. The thing about this problem is that it is never actually fixed. Desynch build. People build exclusively to exploit it.

Bulldust. I can name at least one red player on Xbone who has built specifically to do this. Pure damage, from as far away as possible to get the health desynch going. He's notorious for it.
