She'll be hanging out in a Winterhold pub drinking with Lady Clarisse Laurent, Stibbons, Raynor & Kireth Vanos, waiting for the cliff,... I mean the "Skyrim" chapter to drop.

Lyris' in the North beach. Enjoying some sun and sand snow in her time off.

and stopping a new invasion from the North. (Akaviri descendants? Nord Ancestor race? Migrated Sea Elves?)

Note that all NPC's making re-appearances after apparent death have had those happen in a Daedric realm, where reality is at the whim of the realm's creator.

That includes the player, of course. All of them.

    *Raises hand*

I wiped Sai. His sword was one of the best in the game at the time.

She's waiting to be retconned like her boyfriend was. It's only fair to make the other players who sacrificed Lyris feel their choice is now pointless with a few lines of "I dunno, gotta kill dragons?"

My guess is that they’ll all be back at some point, and the planemeld was just a dream in the sleeping mind of some British chap named Cadwell, who wakes up, exclaims, “My, my, my..... what an awful dream!” and then heads out to Best Buy to purchase a copy of TES6.

Thanks for the correction. Haha. I've been working on my elf's memoires (fanfic) from Oblivion and had Mehrunes Dagon's Oblivion Gates on my mind. :)

lyris was always my favorite of the 5 companions.
something about her being a thick and hardy nord gal 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

so i have 9 characters, and everytime i have played through that questline i ALWAYS kill off sai sahan because no one will get in the way of my ambitions of being with lyris!!!

Haha! My long-running character is a tiny, weak, magic elf and has always admired heroic women with the size, strength and power to wield steel and do what my elf can never hope to. As such, she readily made friends with and was drawn to Sir Mazoga in Oblivion. It was Mjoll the Lioness in Skyrim. And, yup, Lyris Titanborn in ESO. During each ESO playthrough, she has sacrificed the Prophet - partly as a kindness to not derail the attraction between Lyris and Sai.

I choose to believe that who ever you nominally choose, Abner Tharn pulls a fast one and sticks Mannimarco in the Amulet of Kings when you aren't looking.

Because Mannimarco is the totally expendable member of the five companions. And you find him strapped to a table in a condition Abner ought to be able to con him into agreeing.

I suspect she may have wanted a little timeout after all the trouble, some "finding myself" time (doubly so if she sacrificed herself but then somehow got revived by the grace of the divines like sai sahan for some people!) and is now travelling skyrim incognito, posing as a bard... her music is not that good, but few of her listerers dare to complain lest they start a barroom brawl with... her...

we are all playing the same character, the vestige... every possible scenario of the vestige that can be played out is played out by us as we play.. but in the end the lore of the day rules supreme and we have no actual impact on the historical facts... we are just the endless possibilities playing themselves out unto exhaustion.
I simply must protest. There are no Penguin avatars for me to use in the forums.

    BTW, I use arch too

During the final fight with Molag Bal, one of your companions has to sacrifice their life so you get the aedric powerup you need to kick Molag in his Bal. If its the prophet, his ghost visits you at the end of orsinium. If its Sai Sahan, he mysteriously is revived for dragonhold. And if its Lysis... well... we don't know yet, actually; but chances are they might bring her back once they do a "western Skyrim" expansion... after all, they did it with Abner, and Sai, so why not her as well?
