"Some players" are players who are not currently trying to play the game on the PC EU server....

Sarcasm? AS IF! Add-ons are the only reason the game on the EU server farm is struggling. Without add-ons it would run perfectly... like console

I wonder if I was the cause of the server meltdown or what I got was already after the EU server melt. I hope CMs still ready this.

So what happened with me that I was in a solo quest instance, The Missing Prophecy, just killed and looted Dyzera and that moment when the loot window opened, the dungeon finder window opened too with the Ready or Decline option(after a hour of searching). I could not loot with the E key at that moment, so I hit Escape to close the dungeon finder window, which vanished then looted Dyzera. After that the dungeon finder window popped up again and I hit ready, but after that on the right it only showed "Ready", but no other group members icons appeared being ready or not. I left the instance through the portal on the second try and the quest story continued. I was still in "Ready" phase for the dungeon finder. After that I tried to leave the dungeon through the ladder. After that infinite loading screen.

I just found it odd that the server melt just happened when I used the dungeon finder. Maybe it's nothing.

Well, we know most of the problems come from the dungeon finder system and it's odd behaviors. Directly or indirectly. And someone who worked in game development, it was an interesting coincidence for me.

I have hada bit of a rollercoaster like day and came this evening to try to play a little and unwind.

Yet again, nothing in launcher to say there's a problem and had to come to forums to see that cut and paste excuse 'We are ...'.

Yet again I appear to be one of the randomly affected 'some'.

Well, looks like no daily log in reward for me today / one more greyed out at least. Not a deal breaker. But all these issues with EU are really getting on my nerves!

I normally buy a 'batch' subscription to avoid any possibility of not having the money in the bank come renewal. The way it is going with EU, I probably will not renew anymore or buy from store. No big loss for our overlords I'm sure.

I'm not leaving now, the door will not hit me on the way out and you canna 'ave me stuff.

I can highly recommend the NA Server, it is brilliant. Time from login to Overworld if it is long 30 seconds, Time of the average Loading Screen 5 Seconds, time of the average Dungeon queue about 10 minutes as DD, time of the average BG queue between just 1 and 10 minutes, average ping from europe to america about 110-120ms (thats better than the ping to the EU server at prime time).

I spent several days getting linux to play nice with with my 4k tv and now that i can finally sit down and spend some time playing, i cant log in. got kicked while accepting a group finder notification.

PFFT! They dont want a job apparently... they want eu server to fail so they can all go home and go hungry... it's the latest in eu austerity measures
I simply must protest. There are no Penguin avatars for me to use in the forums.

    BTW, I use arch too
