How do I find a team to carry me?

Pay for a carry. Tell them it’s for a slow run

Be aware you’re not missing out on much lore. LoM and MF have nearly no relevance to the Elsweyr narrative

    Hey myskyrim26

I totally get what you are after.

Happy to help you on PC EU. Feel free to pm me.

Alternatively the Loreseekers guild sounds like exactly the place you are looking for both for this and to get together with people who play the game like you. You can find out about them here

    https://www.loreseekerspodcast.com/guild/

    They are good people.

    Good luck and have fun

    Thank you ever so much!!!

    @Guyle
It is not that bad, of course. I just want to be able to listen and read the dialogues and take quick screenshots while exploring the place. I wish I could roam the corridors slowly like I do solo in Fungal Grotto - but I don't even dream of it when we speak of Malatar or other serious place

OP, you kind of remind me of that guy in Skyrim, in the Skaal village. Tharstan. Who asks the dragonborn to carry him through that draugr tomb so he can study the relics.

    Good luck in your search.

ps Hope your aid does not do what I did with Tharstan and make you set off all traps and shout you off ledges :p

Whoops was meant to edit my post not reply to myself.

use the guild finder in game and set the filters to Role Play, you will find many like minded ppl are out there, to many ppl just rush through things these days sometimes its nice to stop and smell the flowers so to speak.
good luck in your search and you should never have to pay someone to play the game how you like

Offer gold. Lots of gold. Everyone has a price.

    That's what I did, exactly! I received a fast run instead of a lore-run

    Don't pay up front lol

Hmmm... But how they will know I'm not going to cheat them? I paid in advance that time - that's true.

you pay half up front, half when its done

thats not how carry runs work, probably in this case u will find players that do that, but in the real carry runs for vet trials and dungeons or loot runs only full at front , no exception

Please, read before posting a comment like "l2p", "find a guild", "look for a build", "find some friends" and "may I have your stuff":
I'm playing since 2016 and I tried all of the above, even tried to do things solo. It is @ZOS fault I ask for such a thing. They hid the lore - and I'm a lore fan. There's no other way for me to learn the lore, but to be carried.

    Ok, now the question:
How to find a team that could carry me through Elsweyr related dungeons? Any guild, PC EU, I could address? Any PC EU players I could address? I need only lore - dialogues, scenery. No achievements, no sets - I'd give all loot to those who could take me there. And I understand that such players do have... their interest. I agree to that in full.

I tried in Craglorn chat. I received a... fast run through Malatar. I don't need a RUN. I need my lore... I want to enjoy the dungeon. Maybe someone is interested in lore, also? In this case we could try to make a static group on PC EU. Or even a lore-oriented guild! (Oh, who am I cheating now... I tried many times already....)

The Band App has many people selling carries for all content

I have to second this. I had never given that much attention to the actual dungeons themselves until I solo’d Fungal Grotto and spent a bit of time bimbling around it afterwards. It looks fantastic, some of the views are really beautiful (plus you have the benefit of your goblin army bowing down to you, which is nice). Really looking forward to soloing more and spending a bit more time going through them.

Rushing through dungeons killing mercilessly to get my XP and loot and that is all very exciting and fun. But sometimes actually exploring these spaces afterwards is really rewarding. You get a real sense of the places (and the excellent work the dungeon team has done). Can not recommend it enough.

Normal dungeons and trials are incredibly easy so you don't need a team of pros you just need 3-11 people depending on the content to help you through the dungeons and trials.

Trials are designed to not have a lot of lore on the run so you will have plenty of time to read the dialogue on the quest and then once everything is dead backtrack on books and notes in the trial. Otherwise there's not really a linear story you can miss because the NPCs talk for everyone and not just you.

With dungeons you do need patient people but its easier to find 3 people to wait for you than 11. I don't think it's ZoS's fault bc when I played WoW back in the day I knew jack lore and was just there to beat *** up, so it's the kind of atmosphere the players made with fast runs. I am on PC EU if you ever need a lore run tho!

The Lollygaggers and Rich Mahogany are both casual guilds on PC/EU who do this sort of thing. The Lollygaggers takes a light-hearted approach consisting mostly of younger gamers with in-game parties and contests in addition to their slow-paced adventures. Rich Mahogany consists mostly of older gamers, many of whom enjoy searching every barrel and reading every lorebook. You, or anyone else reading this, is free to send me a mail on @ValkyOfApocrypha and I will get you hooked up with an invite. :)

You're on PC EµU ? you may want to try one of the guild i'm in, Alith Legion. It's very relaxed, and we have some lore lovers too, the ones that actually read all the books they find, don't just click on them :)
Recently we had a CoH1 dungeon run specially so that someone could enjoy the whole quest, we ended up walking (yes, actual walk, not just "not sprinting") through it to make sure the pace was matching the one of the ghosts :)
