Interesting suggestion. Makes me wonder who at ZOS has the authority to shut down an entire event but not delete a web post advertising it...
In the meantime, people are still logging in looking for The Event that Wasn’t.5 -

Quite a few people last night were asking about why they didn’t get tickets after completing a dungeon, etc. Sounds like I’m going to have to continue breaking the news to people... 😑2 -

If that is the case, then that is a very poor website design... Oddly enough, they removed twitch drops (apparently those were the part of the event too) and they also removed information about scheduled twitch drops. They were supposed to be on this weekend.their website backend doesn’t allow posts to be removed without authorisation.

Because management, the backend infrastructure and their attention to the day-to-day dynamic detail isn't near as good as they need to be, or as much as they'd like us to believe.
A lot of the game is either on auto-pilot with no oversight in anything approaching real time, or it's 'somebody else's problem', and nobody is stepping up to take responsibility until too much later and too many customers notice (again) that 'we' just don't matter in the grand scheme of the corporate deal of service to us.Edited by twev on November 16, 2019 5:04PMThe problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.2 -

If the everyday game text remains broken for nearly a year, why do you think they would care about fixing some website text blunders?1 -
