Delete a character

I got the following dilemma,
All character slots are filled so I got 2 options:
1, Delete a character
2, Buy an extra character slot

I recently cancelled my subscription during the witches festival (Member since januare 8, 2014) cause I peronally reached a tipping Point.
I decided I want to keep on playing cause I really enjoy the game but not spend any money until I feel that players concerns are taken seriously.

Option 1, aj aj aj, what can I say. I got "feelings" for them all :D
Option 2, not an option so back to option 1

If you still have crowns from your ESO+, buy the character slot. You aren't spending money that you haven't already spent...

Otherwise, pick the character you like least or have done the least content with. Or the one that has done the least content of the characters you like the least... and delete them.

You already know your choices, decide.

    Got 700 Crowns from Eso+
Yeah, that's what I will do, least content done overall so the Warden is the one I will delete, not sure why but I can't seem to enjoy playing it.

Depends what you want to do but puchasing another copy of base ESO gives 8 slots and from sale costs less than 1. (Of course another different account.)

Myself considered it for that and other reasons but given the state of game, passed. Lets see at Q2 when they are supposed to have fixed the performance...

I don't even understand the question.

Slots are full, but want to start a new character.

Already decided you will not spend any money at this stage. - So, have already decided you will not buy a slot.

Also are very attached to all current characters - So, have already decided you will not delete any of them.

    What did I miss here?

Are you asking someone else to buy or gift you a character slot?

    I don't understand the question.

It's not so much a question, it's a discussion. If I'm not mistaken that's one of the main reasons you visit a forum.

Not asking for anything other than moral support and an opinion :)

You left us with no opinion to give.

You already decided that you were not going to do either of the things that were the only two options. There's nothing left to discuss or give an opinion on.

I never recommend deleting a character because you never know when you’ll get the urge to play them again. Unfortunately the best way is to just buy an extra slot imo.

You are discussing something where you claim that there is nothing to discuss, twisted, right ?

Yeah I might have to climb down form my "moral" high ground and realize that's I play the game for fun and not make some sort of statement :D

Thank you, kind of you to say. I do enjoy talking about the game and all that it involves.

Another free option is to play at other region (at least on PC, not familiar how consoles do it). You have your chapters, dlc and if active ESO+ (check that before subbing!) and crowns but of course no collections and no transfer of crown purchases goodies or anything across the pond. And ~200ms ping.

Aside, just tried NA to check my facts and while ping was 199ms got booted to login so appears I need some moar valid internet connection to play there...

    More character slots means more...

    1. Mule space for junk you'll never use, but hold onto for whatever reason
    2. Hireling mail thus more chances at legendary mats.
    3. Dailies, Dailies, Dailies!

Buy a crown gift from a trustworth crown seller for gold?

Assuming that your moral standards allow it.

Anyone playing more than 6 characters is either no lifer, has multiple weak characters or ends up bored with grinding. When I hear that people are doing daily writs on 18 characters then I wonder if they realise that they are not gaming or having fun, but chasing a carrot on the stick which is being hold by ZoS. The only rational exceptions for having more than 6 characters are battlegrounds and mules.

Heh, that's why I have asked multiple times for nerfing AP rewards in PVP under lvl 50.

A reminder: Before deleting, be certain to empty the character's inventory of everything including gold and all character currencies.
Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
    Might be joking in comments.

A magicka, stamina and support for each class fills all 18 slots. How is that irrational?

    Judgemental much?
