It would be really helpful if we could have the option to log in straight into the game by having an option to include a default character load. This way everyone can win. Players can log in much faster. Log in severs load will also lower.
Also an option to log out to main menu would also be useful, so we could swap in between servers more easily if needed.

If you log to the character screen and then hit the "Back" button you reach the main menu a lot quicker than if you log out to the desktop and relaunch the game. At least, that's my experience on PC.

My own request would be for a drop down menu on the main screen to switch between accounts without having to type in the account name. Having the launcher remember your password would also be a way of speeding things up on private machines.

I would love to see the log in process streamlined. I've been playing ESO for+6500 hours - I don't need to sit or multiclick through the opening credits anymore. My PC is in my home office, no one else touches it and it is protected by a gun - there is no reason I need to type in my password every time I want to play. As @Tandor said above, an option to remember password would be helpful. If I tell the game to start, why should I have to then tell the game to play - why the hell else would I ask the game to start? How about one click that takes me to my character selection screen and a second click to select a character and drop them into the game?

I fully 'get' why people get in the game and spend so much time logged in but afk to go eat lunch, take a nap or whatever. Logging in from scratch takes too long. To add insult to injury, you cannot even tell the game to start then walk away to make a coffee until you can play. You have to sit there clicking every few seconds to keep the tedious process moving along.

You can turn off the beginning videos in the user settings file.
Close the game, then just search for "skip" in the UserSettings.txt file and find the one with "intro" or "video" (I forget) in it, and change the 0 to a 1. Save changes and boot up the game. No more intro videos.

agreed. it really is unnecessary and tedious. that's why i'm using steam login. no need to enter your password... i've never experienced any of the issues others have reported with steam. got eso + morrowind on sale for 10 bucks, definitely worth it for me even though i already owned the non steam version.

@Amber322 Awesome suggestion. I pulled up the file as you said, found the SkipPregameVideos line and changed its default 0 value to 1. Works perfectly. Thank you!
