My PC is in my home office, no one else touches it and it is protected by a gun - there is no reason I need to type in my password every time I want to play. As @Tandor said above, an option to remember password would be helpful. If I tell the game to start, why should I have to then tell the game to play - why the hell else would I ask the game to start? How about one click that takes me to my character selection screen and a second click to select a character and drop them into the game?
I fully 'get' why people get in the game and spend so much time logged in but afk to go eat lunch, take a nap or whatever. Logging in from scratch takes too long. To add insult to injury, you cannot even tell the game to start then walk away to make a coffee until you can play. You have to sit there clicking every few seconds to keep the tedious process moving along.

You can turn off the beginning videos in the user settings file.
Close the game, then just search for "skip" in the UserSettings.txt file and find the one with "intro" or "video" (I forget) in it, and change the 0 to a 1. Save changes and boot up the game. No more intro videos.
