Please, read before posting a comment like "l2p", "find a guild", "look for a build", "find some friends" and "may I have your stuff":
I'm playing since 2016 and I tried all of the above, even tried to do things solo. It is @ZOS fault I ask for such a thing. They hid the lore - and I'm a lore fan. There's no other way for me to learn the lore, but to be carried.
Ok, now the question:
How to find a team that could carry me through Elsweyr related dungeons? Any guild, PC EU, I could address? Any PC EU players I could address? I need only lore - dialogues, scenery. No achievements, no sets - I'd give all loot to those who could take me there. And I understand that such players do have... their interest. I agree to that in full.
I tried in Craglorn chat. I received a... fast run through Malatar. I don't need a RUN. I need my lore... I want to enjoy the dungeon. Maybe someone is interested in lore, also? In this case we could try to make a static group on PC EU. Or even a lore-oriented guild! (Oh, who am I cheating now... I tried many times already....)

✭✭✭Ask for a story run and better be up front telling them what you are looking for -- non-rushed, etc etc.
I've tried it and it is HARD. Even in a guild that was supposedly interested in such runs for talking to npcs, doing the quest, and looking for books and such, it was hard to get people to respond even on pledge days.
And even when you tell them that is the type of run you want, people end up being idiots and rush ahead.
ZOS really failed at looking at play patterns when they tied the Season of the Dragon dungeons to the story.
Another thing you can do is go solo but ask one or two friends to parachute in to help with the bosses.
They CAN port out of the dungeon to do other things while you do your looking-around as long as they DON'T leave group.
They CAN even log out that particular toon. You will still not be un-grouped (they will just show offline on that toon, even if they log in to a different toon) so you will not get booted from the dungeon.

I'm on EU server and I wouldn't mind doing a lore based run, with focus on the characters and story

Thank you! I explained the team what I want... dialogues, screenshots... yet running they were. They took final boos so quick that I could barely have a look at it...1 -

PC EU, unfortunately :'( Still many thanks for your proposal! You know, based on my forum experience I think I chose a wrong server to play... I should have chosen NA. For many reasons. Considering the numerous times I have done the dungeons with guild members that wanted to see the story line I find this comment hard to believe. OP must not be communicating well as a great many people were interested in seeing the dungeon for the story. With an active casual guild it should still be easy to get people to do the dudgeons slow if one communicates properly.

I'd be grateful for that! I can do a dungeon since 16:00 CET onwards till late night. @maximilianlares in game. My main is petsorc 650+ CPs, I also have a stamDK tank - but I didn't play him for a long time0 -

I'm in 4 guilds. Social/PVE. Players who can do dungeons are interested in certain loot/achievements/gear/vet monster head/ubdaunted keys... Serious players are interested in vet dungeons, fast runs. I tried to ask for paid runs. People offered free runs - BUT fast runs, not lore. They even took me to trials! And it was really fast, too (no, I didn't asked for a lore trial run - I guess it is impossible)1 -

Otherwise you would need to do those first if you really want to understand the characters and story.

OH CRAP!!! I tried Selene's Web solo. Awesome scenery, but I failed to do a 2nd boss. As for Volenfell , I did it in a group several times and I get the idea. Thank you for advice!!!

Should be quite cheap on normal, don't let them try to charge you VET carry Prices.

I mean are you getting all photo shoot about it and trying to take screenshots of every corridor, npc, add pull, and boss from multiple angles until its absolutely perfect? About how long would you want a dungeon that can be speedrun in under 10 mins to take? Because if they think you're just going to be reading the dialogue and taking a few screenshots, it really shouldnt take much longer than a fast run anyways.... you may have to be explicit in what you want1
