Honestly I was disappointed. I was expecting Tenmar forest - and they literally created both the chapter and dlc around it.

In terms of what content was there? Most of it was pretty forgettable for me, with the exception being the dragon fights.

For a quest dlc, the quests are horrible, tedious, bad designed, it can win the worst quest design of all games reward.
Not to mention the lag, dcs and numerous serious bugs that plague the game and never get fixed.
Plus the horrible low iq class and combat changes the whole year.
    It’s a disappointment.
All I can say is ZOS probably been lazy this year, or only 1 or 2 people working to get this dlc out. The 17mil dragon fight at the ending, I mean just because people complain quest boss too easy does not mean simply adding more boss health and making more adds to make the fight drag on forever. Bad designed.

I liked the quests and dailies. Disappointed there was nothing for end game players though, was hoping for a new solo arena or even a two man one.

Giving it a one not because of the new quests or zone itself (which were fantastic imo), but because the only thing I was looking for in this update was performance improvements and consistency, which we did not get in any way.

I am still holding out on buying it for several reasons, even though it kills me not to have all overland zones unlocked. It just feels gross.

Overall, I'm pretty meh on it.

The balance changes are a part of it, I admit. It's just incredibly frustrating having things -like DoTs- (overly) buffed in one update and nerfed again in the next. A major swing in one direction followed by a swing in the exact opposite direction. It's a good thing I didn't have all my characters sorted out for the previous meta. Still, I spent a decent chunk of time trying to sort out my characters and I *still* haven't fixed some of them.

The zone design itself is okay. There's nothing that really stands out overly much to me. It's a nice enough place and runs reasonably well compared to other locations.

Quests? The main quest was unremarkable. Had one moment that stood out to me (specifically in the part that's unlocked after beating the main story in Northern Elsweyr), but otherwise I was mildly frustrated by some design choices. Including the forced mechanics on the boss fights. That was something that irritated me with Northern Elsweyr itself and it continues here.

For the most part, I also felt the zone quests were unremarkable. There's only one that stood out to me as being any good and that was the one in Black Heights. That's one I'll probably play through again on a different character.

So... Yeah. Overall, pretty meh. I've got everything unlocked for collectibles, so now I just have to upgrade the Dragonguard base. Not sure if I'll actually bother since I have the crafting area unlocked.

I give it 3 mehs out of 5 mehs, purely because it is meh.

Story is good, effects are good. Characters are fun. Enviroment is kinda....bleh not my kind of thing I enjoy and some of the sets are really cool.

The balance patch that came with the DLC as part of it though..........enormous let down and and incredible showcase of why you shouldn't buff something too hard because you're then going to be forced to nerf it in the ground and now rotations aren't just boring they're nerfed and boring. Never forcibly change the meta just to make people use something they dont want to use, DoT builds aren't fun outside of a PvP environment its so mindless. This "class identity" they spoke about in the news needs to get here quicker. I want Eruption restored to its full glory ffs. I want DKs nerf to whip proc reverted and I want it to actually feel fun again.

And my god do something about sorcs sustain in PvE. its dreadful.

I agree, also the box pushing puzzles, I was like please don’t have another one of those puzzle anymore in my brain the whole time. The boxes pushing puzzles are like for 3 years old toddler knows where to push it to the obvious place. It’s just completely stupid and tedious, nothing else.
