I tend to agree here, I'm not as close as you are, but I have been hoping we'd see some events that would make motifs more common for the same reason. That said I doubt it will happen because motifs are sold for crowns, which is real money, and if ZOS made them too easy to get in game they would shoot themselves in the foot.

That said I wanted a Chokethorn staff, even as an outfit page, and I'm rather irritated that since I couldn't get in for the first few hours of the event I could have to wait weeks to get a chance of this.... or pay money if they bring the set back to the crown shop.... and while I DO pay money into this game, I find it more fun to earn things in play (gives me something to do, and is far more meaningful).

This is why I have written several messages saying they need to rollback to servers to be fair, and why they should not do what they did last year and tie this into the next event, they either need to put the event back up (and deal with the server issues) or find something else to run in the next few hours.... if it's the latter they need to rollback to before the event started to create an even playing field, nobody should benefit from having gotten lucky and playing within a very limited window.
