I agree. There are just too many pressure points that are getting hit when players are directed to focus heavily on specific pieces of the game.

I really wouldn't be opposed to having tickets be the only daily reward and having the Impresario available all the time. Rotate some things monthly or quarterly, but give players the option to purchase whatever they want to enhance their gameplay.

That would keep players spread out and raise the ticket cap, while still encouraging people to log in even for just a few minutes a day. They could still sell tickets, too, in case somebody wants to make up a missed day or two.

We've tried it for a year now. The heavy event rotation just feels like a contradiction to the One Tamriel approach of players doing the content they want when they want to do it.

I didn't expect them to really cancel it, I really hope they won't be surprised if the next one melts the server again, but actually search for solutions now, and if that takes the rest of the year.

Well, obviously I agree that would be the ideal scenario.

I know, but it bothers me when people (not you) post things that are selfish, like the former post. And not that everyone on the NA server is from the U.S., but many are, and there’s the whole “ugly American” image that certain persons have added to these past years that I (futilely) fight against.

They tried to cancel the event but the off button is not working.

Its sad cus it's not ZOS its the crunch culture perpetuated by their investors wanting more capitol from the game.

Quality is better than quantity, someone should communicate that to the event coordinators. I used to look forward to events, but it's hard to "look forward" to something that happens so frequently. Now they just mean a period every couple of weeks where I feel compelled to do extra chores without really caring all that much about the rewards or enjoying the time spent acquiring them.

Thank you for cancelling and listening to what people voice here :-) - Now update the news site to reflect the current situation, continuing to advertise an event that you have just canceled will just make people even more frustrated, and lots of people will still be trying to log in to do the event!

The game is literally a cesspool of rotten spaghetti code that has just been added to over the years and never sorted out. No! we are not all "IT" tech wizards with an in depth understanding of coding vs hardware, and you can laugh all you like at us lower mortals without such insights if that makes you feel better about yourself...

That doesn't mean as a paying customer we don't have every right to voice our opinions, and basic logic applies whether it be hardware or software related doesn't really make much difference to me, the issue remains, fix the damn thing one way or another before piling on new stuff and/or run events that will attract more people than the servers / software can accommodate.

If the game coding is basically flawed and a mess and needs rewriting, then do it! shift some of those clever people that write new content, to fix stuff instead. If its hardware related ei lack of sheer server power - buy more power. It all makes perfect sense expressed in dollars and cents... spend what needs spending to sort it out please!
