4 Days for Undaunted Event is a joke

Who thought this was a good idea? I miss 6 tickets if i plan to do sth with my weekend other than playing games? Or the fact that you put really good outfit styles with that ? I know the servers will be deep fried potato in this event. 4 days event is a joke.

befriendlyordie✭✭✭Also imagine how long its going to take for them to fix the issues that "some" of the players will experience. Happens every event on EU. So in actuality you'll have about 2 days worth of play time if you're lucky.9 -

✭Not even going to get involved with the event. From reading the event information, Only way to get anything is do 4 man delves which means Dungeon Finder that just like last time will be a mess. They should of included all delves including Public.2 -

4 and a half days, I wouldn't sweat it too much they'll be a lot of people farming dungeons to sell or trade. Will everyone get everything? Probably not. But we'll get a good bit of them, at least. I'm come to terms with the fact I wont get all of them and there's always next year.1 -

Technically, you don't have to use Groupfinder. You can manually enter the group dungeons with your group or even solo them and it will still count.
On a practical level, however, I agree with you that its going to be a mess because everyone is going to want to use Groupfinder - its just the most effective way to group up and do a dungeon.1 -

The pages will be tradable. No style page has yet been account bound.
The golden boxes are a guaranteed opal style and will drop once per day per account.
The pages will also rarely drop from Normal undaunted boxes. I can sneak through FG1 and kill the two bosses needed to complete in around 5-7 minutes, which about 3-4 minutes to reset. Our other options: trade with friends/ guild mates/ randoms from zone chat or buy from traders.

Or simply group up with guildies or friends. Or ask in area chat etc. There will be tons of folk wanting to run group dungeons in undaunted enclave zones.
Lets not create issues that dont exist.
Im very much looking forward to getting my hands on those styles! Cant wait to get stuck into some dungeon content

My problem is with the event tickets, not style pages about which I honestly couldn't care less. PC/EU is always wonky during weekends even more so during events and the just ended Witch's Festival it became apparent that the new Activity Finder (aka the Dungeon Finder) is a major culprit. In fact it cause the server to have a nearly week long meltdown which resulted in the extension of thr event. And that for an event that wasn't even dungeon related like this one.
And before someone is a smartass and tells me that you don't have to use the activity finder, I know. You don't. But a lot of people still will and that is going to have a serious effect because the issues were never actually fixed, stuff kept being wonky after the so called fixed it just didn't escalate into full on day long meltdown. But as I said the Witch event wasn't specifically about doing dungeons so on the whole the dungeon finder would have seen less stress than it will under this. So the question remains whether EU folks on PC will be able to participate in this at all and how we're going to get tickets with a dungeon finder that clearly isn't working.
Please tell me how this isn't a problem?0 -

Yeah, but if you are in the EU like me, and decide to do your dungeon in the morning instead of after the event started at 4pm, then you are opted out for the first box. You can always group and port to FG1 normal. Done in 10 mins and I bet there will be a lot of people doing that due to queue crashing. I will be among them.0 -

Honestly I have no idea what they were expecting. People in NA can get that last tickets in monday, but for EU players, you have to login and play the game at 9-10am on MONDAY to get it. Maintenance starts after 2 -3 hours after that time aswell... Imagine going to work... Oh and good luck getting tickets if maintenance gets extended and you miss the deadline HAH0
