Sunk Cost Fallacy?

But the love I have for that universe doesn’t seem to match what is being done to it. Choices being made that seem in direct opposition to the lore. The whole server-woopsies. The low level of communication, explanation, what the plans are to fix it. That bugs me.
ESO has a huge dedicated fan base. Some of us have been here for a decade. That is something rare, to have a name for oneself, to be able to create something that keeps lighting that fire in us. It seems as if that degree of nerdiness no longer is appreciated, sometimes it seems as if Nirn is about to be just another of those fast-in-fast-out kind of places. We have that, in massive examples. ESO tickles just the right spot, you know.
I’m not going anywhere. Where should I go? But something seems not quite right..

I've adjusted to all the recent combat changes fairly well, but I'm reluctant to build for any endgame content other than PVP for the moment. My hope is we'll see what the actual combat direction is soon, but I'm not going to build for trials or vet dlc until it's done.
I'm not fond of the direction of monetization, but unfortunately that is seeping into single player titles now as well. It could be the new standard and us old gamers will just have to live with it, idk...
I haven't experienced nearly the performance issues that some have, but I'd like to see the game more stable especially post patches.

That’s how they win players just learning to live with it. Ipaid full price for this game and monthly membership they should have enough to keep the lights on and get paid. This is greed and the only way to beat greed is to starve the beast.

They have simply made too many unecessary changes over time, most in which I could adapt to with no problem, but now?
It's the straw that breaks the camels back. So many unecessary changes, the wrong things being addressed constantly, or ignored - it stacks up, and finally one more bad thing happens and we just cant deal with how ridiculous it is anymore.
I only last played to see how I felt about the changes. I couldn't find any fun in it; because a lot of players have disappeared, too. So, it's like "Why Play This Anymore? Why make a new toon or grind and improve gear? What am I really going to do with it, honestly?"
All the game modes are worse than ever before. I'm just saying, this game was in bad shape far before any of the last 10 patches or more but nothing has been done about it. Instead, your patience, your time, and/or money spent has all been jeapordized. We get the most unecessary changes. It's just so sloppy and iritating.
There just comes a point, where eventually you lose motivation and interest to play. It can be for many reasons. Most of us share the exact similar ones though. For me?
1.) November 2019 Recent Patch/Wrong Changes Always Being Made Over Time)
2.) Rubbish & Intolerable Player Community 24/7
3.) Significantly Low Player Population/Players Quitting
4.) Meaningless & Repetitive Gameplay/Grind/Progression
