question before i buy eso expansion Elsweyr. what if i dont like it whats the refund policy

✭✭Elsweyr has been on sale twice already, I'd guess it will be on sale again at some point.
I mysef got it from sale, and have procrastnated doing the story. Did the intro and did start the zone quest but just did not get into questing trance from the awesomeness of it. (I'll try with other char after I've cleaned the warehouse from debris left from the event.)

✭Pro tip: if you're on PC, you can try out Elsweyr for free (!), no strings attached, by logging onto the PTS (PC only though).
On PTS you get access to Elsweyr, even if you haven't bought it on the Live server yet.0 -

ZOS's own policy is that no one gets a refund on anything for any reason, but in some places (including, but probably not limited to, Europe, Australia and New Zealand) that's illegal so they have refund conditions "imposed" on them (seriously, thats their own wording), but obviously what those are varies by juristiction.

Another Idea: Just don't buy at all until the next chapter, you will get Northern & Southern Elsweyr with ESO+ ...spend $15, and if you like it then maybe buy it. I was one of those suckers that bought Elsweyr collectors edition and am pretty salty that they "forgot" to mention outright that that was only Northern Elsweyr, and the Southern region as an additional DLC "aka Dragonhold". So at it's cheapest, you are looking at $40 for Northern, and another $20 for Southern...so $60 for the entire expansion...again, if it were me, I'd sub to ESO+ when they push Elsweyr content to be included with it, save yourself 4x the cost to see if it's worth it or not to you. For me personally, it's not worth the cost, especially with all the bugs and issues going on with the game.
With that being said, the game may implode on itself and create a black hole before the next chapter comes out May 2020, so ymmv.

This is actually what I did before Elsweyr was released, although I didn't play it very much; I mostly just ran around a bit until I ended up in the Scar or whatever it's called. But even though I didn't play any actual content-- aside from participating in one dragon hunt-- I saw enough to assure me that it was worth pre-ordering so I could get the extra pre-order goodies.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!1 -
