Only one way to find out.
Roll one of each and play them. No better time than now, double XP and all that. Playing a week of each should level them to your current max and let you know which one you actually like best.
My experience is I like Templars, my Stam Templar is really fun, I find Nightblades a hard class to play, but I know lots of friends who love them.
Don't let anyone tell you how or what to play. Play your game and have fun.
Yep. Better to roll Stamplar imho. You still have access to:Stamplar is a lot more fun to play right now IMO. Stamblade can be fun but it lost much of what made it unique in recent updates. Best way to tell though would be to roll one of each and see for yourself.

If your goal is to play solo and gank players as they ride by on their horse (and run away when your gank fails) then you should be a stamblade.
If your goal is to be a good pvp’er, then be a stamplar.
Choose your own adventure.

Love how some basic clueless PVPer just adds an extra magsorc line because they’re conditioned by the forums. I guess magsorcs didn’t get nerfed last patch when pets got nerfed to the ground and shields turned into the shittiest health/Magicka skill without cp investment.
Endgame content I would say both stam classes would work, but for pvp nightblades are mostly leaning on just one OP skill, shadowy disguise. Stamplar recently got some skills and mechanics tweaked and is holding out pretty well. I would say start with a stamplar now since it will let you get used to pvp without being reliant on a single skill.
