I think the issue is lag related and when multiple CCs are applied before you can break free. Some things are just weird and seem like they ignore the cc immunity though, I notice it most with DK leap and Necro ground fears.
Worst is lag with the ground Necro fears. With lag you can get feared, it’ll take 2 seconds for the break free to register, and then be immediately feared right afterwards before you can react.
