I am looking to get over 30k dps and would love for someone to take a look to see what improves I can make to increase my numbers. Below is my latest parse on a 3m dummy.

Change Mundus to Shadow Stone.
Make sure front bar weapons are golded, Main hand:Nirnhoned, off hand: Sharpened
Drop Selene's for 1 crit rate/1 damage or 1 penetration/1 damage, or even just 2 weapon damage pieces (mixing sets). You'll get more of an increase across all skills than you lose from the proc effect. Also consider using Grundwulf (Crit/sustain 2 piece) if you need better sustain.
Consider taking soul-splitting trap out and using Arrow Spray instead.1 -

✭Does the same mixing of monster sets apply to magicka classes? I’m just pulling 27k as well and wonder if 1crit/1max mag is the way to go then?0 -

✭Get Relequen set. It can do almost 8-10k by themself.
Though players call this set "dummy killer" ) In real dynamic encounters it not so good.
Also you can try another spamable attack.2 -

@Bobby_V_Rockit Nothing will beat 2pc Zaan for Magicka vs a single enemy. For some AoE situations you’ll get better results with mixing 2 different 1pc Spell Crit than you would with something like Ilambris or Grothdarr. You have to also consider things like 2pc Slimecraw (best set if you’re not getting over about 50% Combat Prayer uptime) or Balorghs (best for burst, but weaker than other options for sustained damage). Even Iceheart has some good uses, being only a couple % lower in DPS than other options while giving a lot of survivability. Grundwulf is also pretty good if you need the sustain (who doesn’t this patch).
There’s not really any reason to use a 1pc Max Mag or 1pc Spell Damage. 1pc Spell Crit will be better if you’re using the Shadow Stone.Edited by WrathOfInnos on November 8, 2019 7:17AM0 -

Rele can be helpful for reminding you to weave until you get it fully ingrained. But, it's a set you want to be very careful about taking into the wild. Also, even for just raw parses, it can give you a false sense of security. It's really good for score attack, but always remember when you have it equipped.0 -

@WrathOfInnos, if you can't sit on the target and need to keep your distance, something like Valk might be better than Zaan.
Also, worth remembering, if you need survival on a Stamblade, Iceheart is not the end of the world. It's a reasonable set to help your character survive in vMA. The 1pc bonus is a waste, and your ice damage will be garbage, but the shield is stat agnostic, so in a handful of niche circumstances, it's worth remembering.1 -

✭✭✭Your Killer’s Blade damage % should be a lot higher- what does your rotation look like in execute phase? And as others have said, you should be using the Shadow mundus.
Stamblades lost two important sources of damage over the past few patches: minor berserk and major fracture. I personally slot and use Mark Target- it will give you the major fracture back.
I've also been using (on single-target fights) Ambush to provide minor vulnerability.
This is full-on cheese and I don’t think it’d fly in actual combat, but I can get my DPS parse numbers on my stamblade back to how things were about a year ago by also slotting Camouflage Hunter (Fighter’s Guild skill) and parsing behind the dummy to get my minor berserk back.
This is all off-meta, but I’ve given up on the stamblade meta because my DPS is just awful when I try it. Stamblade hasn’t been my main class in a while, so maybe others can step in and tell you why my setup is bad. I DO recommend using at least Mark target though.

For magicka, mixing does apply to some degree, but as stated, you're best off mixing 2 spell crit sets most of the time for that boost.0
