PS4 players - how's performance after the patch?

✭It was the usual new patch day lag but one thing I noticed while doing my daily random was it took like 5 minutes for the ticker to count down to leave group and officially exit dungeon...weird never had that happen before.
I believe I read somewhere (in the patch notes probably) that this is intended, so people can actually turn in quests now, even when the group has already disbanded. ✭✭I diddnt do much but kill some dragons and go through some toons taking advantage of the free skill re spec. The game seemed to run pretty smooth. Even Cyrodil was ok for the few minutes I went in. I’ll find out more tonight after running some trial and maybe a dungeon or so.0 -

I have not noticed a single difference in performance. If anything, things seemed to be loading slower, but this may merely be a consequence of higher server population as folk log in to check out the patch.0 -

✭Aside from the awesome nerfing with this patch, it's not too bad. Doing much less dps, but what can you do (go play Fortite, ha ha ha.) No change on crashing; game's still crashing here and there as before. Haven't got into Southern Elsweyr yet, but I'm sure it will be entertaining. I'm an explorer. So, I like the exploration part of this game, with every new DLC and Chapter zones unlocked.0 -

Loading Screens seem better; no crashes.
Combat = horrible. I will elaborate...
Huge desyncs from multiple skill sources (Sorcs/NB/DK, etc.) where health will go from 100-0. I was dueling a Magplar while on my Stamplar near BRK lumber and it was a back and forth fight; we would each combo to 30-40% and try to execute then heal up. Got him with PotL+Jabs+Turn Evil+Onslaught (health bar did not move), he/she Cleansed and healed to 100% so I went defensive. Not even ONE second later he was on the ground dead....100-0 in less than a second.
Dodge roll is super bugged...All skills grey out and have a 2 second delay from being used after completing a dodge roll animation.
Skills are not fluently working together; Animation cancelling is actually cancelling skill effects, dodge roll is cancelling Vigors..etc.
Overall Opinion: Combat seems less fluid, huge health desyncs across the board, Loads and Loads of, you guessed, more LAG.
However, changes to sprint feel nice

Jephry✭✭I've gotten at least two blue screens each night I've played. I'm still noticing the black silhouettes of PC and NPC characters alike that persist when I enter an area. Lag seems the same. Overall, not much improvement in performance and I've gotten more blue screens this week than in three years of playing the game...1 -

✭✭✭My experience: yesterday I got a couple of long loading screens while trying to load some chars on Vivec City, some instances were more populated than others... At least it stopped crashing while I'm trying to craft items for daily writs.
Got 2 blue screens within 2 or 3 hours, I'd say. It's not bad but it could be better.
Today I got 2 blue screens within 2 hours: the 1st while at Vivec City in an instance not very populated (due to the hour: early morning on a weekday at 6/8am). Second blue screen happened out of nowhere shortly after I started the main quest in Southern Elsweyr (the city was practically empty, I saw 4/5 players in there).
Conclusion: PS4 EU server was pretty Ok so far (But I need to check how it performs on weekend's prime time)
PS - Haven't manage to experience NA server deeply yet (only run daily writs on 1 char), so I'll do it today and I will update my post after that. Cyro/BG/finder tool/dungeons/trials yet to test - both servers.

gp1680✭✭✭✭✭Xbox na - pvp performance was dismal last night in cyrodiil. Had my first ever buzz/lockup/crash since having an Xbox One X. Lag is terrible and game stutters after coming out of a wayshrine. As another poster stated though, I do like the sprinting changes both on characters and mounts.0

In Mournhold I've got loading screens while standing by the Writ chests.

Even though I have to say that my performance has felt much better today... no hiccups, no blue screens (but I don't do Cyro or BGs, so I can't say anything about that), abilities and bar swap seemed to work just fine... didn't change anything, so no idea what that's all about. Will have to see if it stays this way or if it gets worse again. Here's hoping it won't.
