Has pretty much every country except Australia, it even has new zealand. This has got to be discrimination :(

    New Zealand does not require a permit or license to run promotions. But with the total prizes on this sweepstakes being valued at more than $11,000 USD, Australia does require a permit.

    So no, not discrimination.

    Not discrimination. Its to do with local laws surrounding sweepstakes and gambling.

    Someone dug up all of the Australian requirements last time they did the sweepstakes.
    Its a shame because I'd love a crack at those prizes.

    Can I just put I live in New Zealand instead even though I live in Australia?
    Edit also: In Queensland, these sweeps, also known as Calcuttas, can be conducted without a permit so long as the gross ticket sales are under $50,000.

    Trust me we're like the most hated people on the planet. I have been verbally abused online just for living where I do. Also that discrimination thing I was joking. I was just wondering why Australia wasn't there thats all :)

    I thought is was people from Sweden? I must be watching all the wrong shows. I did once long ago ask a guy from New Zealand if he was from Australia and he cursed me a good full minute. So maybe you are right.

    Nations have different laws and contests are not able to comply with every single law. They must omit nations and locals where they context does not comply. That is not a basis for discrimination.

    Heck, I do not see Brazil, Italy, England and many other nations. Somewhat of a strong and baseless claim to accuse Zos of discriminating against AUS.

    Zenimax should care enough about all their clients to compensate those that can't participate in the sweepstakes..

    To troll the antipodes, just give subtle impression you don't know difference between Austria and New Xenaland.

    But I'd rather just play a fun MMO with generally smoothly running servers. I wish someone would release one some day.
