Foods among other stats and passives are bugged.

Ysbriel✭✭✭✭✭its bugged, I noticed even by logging in, since I run with 50k mag.
Edit: the 50k mag when the game feels like letting me have it.

Yeah, that was my thought too. OP, you should do some testing... maybe track how long it takes for you to run until you run out of stamina a few times using food and no food and compare? I feel like it's PROBABLY just the tooltip; my tooltips in general tend to be super buggy.2 -

Increased all food and drink buffs to zero from whatever they were before because eat it nerds.

The food still increases your stats, I tested by removing and reapplying and looking at the main stats.1
