Starting Vet Dungeons

How do you get into a vet dungeon. I've soloed a few normal dungeons, for instance Wayrest Sewers and Fungal Grotto etc. When I go to fast travel to them I get offered a selection of Dungeon: I or Dungeon: II (if there is a two), but no option to enter the vet version.

So just how do you start a vet dungeon solo?

In the group menu, even if you are solo, you change normal and veteran there

Press P, on the party screen, select your difficulty with the shield icons.

And, obviously, you/your character have to be above L50.

If you are in a group, you can easily select them using the Specific Dungeon option. This shows you a list of all the normal and vet dungeons you are able to access.

    Good luck and have fun.

For console when you enter the dungeon finder and select "random" or "specific", the next page has an option to shift between normal dungeons and veteran dungeons, using the controller bumpers. I imagine the page is the same on PC, you just need to shift between the two lists.

As for fast travelling to a dungeon, I cannot remember if/how to select veteran.

What I would say is if you have not undertaken vet content before, the step up is marked and extreme in some cases, such as for dlc vet dungeons.

I'm CP560ish and haven't done any vet content. I prefer to play solo where I can though. I've avoided DLC dungeons so far but may have a go at pugging some sometime. For now I'll just try the base dungeons in vet and see how I get on.

I'll probably get slaughtered, but what the hell :D

If you know what you're doing and how to play solo, you should definitely be able to do the base game dungeons on vet at your CP. ^^
