Something small like this should be able to be changed in with a future patch without issue.

But the past tense of hoist is hoisted. If you're going to use the Shakespearean phrase word-for-word, then yes, "hoist with his own petard." But in this case the person is referring to himself not someone else, so he has to use past tense, therefore it is hoisted, and it is by (because he started it and did it himself) rather than with (because I did nothing of the sort.) Now if you were able to follow along with that, you're doing well.

If you read the entire letter, there aren't any other glaring errors except punctuation, ergo the npc is doing just fine with his spelling. Since this generation seems to have difficulties with punctuation and when to use what form of word (too, to and there, they're and their as examples) then it's not an npc error but a programmer error.
