I was talking to my Husband about housing and buying plants and he said 'why can't you just grow them?'. I was wondering if anyone thought this could be an idea for ESO? A crafting skill for growing plants and something to do in your homes? I don't know if the idea is viable but thought it would be good to discuss.
I can see that some luxury vendor plants and things that are crown store like the flower trellis might not be an option but maybe ordinary plants? But then why have them in the vendor for gold....maybe this could be an alternative to buying them with gold.

✭✭✭✭✭Well.... it's not likely they'll provide either. Fishing at home would preclude some world interaction; so would gardening. And that would also impinge on the crown store plants etc. Ain't hap'nin....0 -

✭✭✭✭✭You could always craft food then turn them into the ground like carrots forced downwards. Most of the crafted food displays are ready for that, just need something that looks like plots of dirt.1 -

I think this is a great idea.
Plants need water. so a player would use the water pots for "x amount" of growing time or something.0 -

✭✭Just get Minecraft and be done with ESO.
That said, Wildstar housing had garden plot fabkit to place on housing plot of each character which could be used to grow very useful mats. Seeds dropped at reasonable rate from world plants - and garden plants too - while gathering. But I think ESO housing is too monetized for that kind of thing to be any relevance to majority of players.1 -

Minecraft is just a bunch of cubes, ugh. Never could understand the appeal, but I grew up with those graphics back in the olden days and was happy for technology to move beyond them. Still waiting for someone to make a game that is just like it but has ESO's graphic style. I would love it.1 -

Joking aside, I've no probs with more housing related content... but my preference is to increase the ridiculously low caps for different housing items, such as mounts etc.0 -
