Access Codes

I downloaded this game unto a new computer and when I login in I get the message of the computer not being authorized, and an access code has been sent to the e-mail on file.

The problem is my e-mail that is on file has not been receiving the access code. I have logged into my account to make sure the e-mail on file is correct and it is. What to do?

This happened to me a few months back and is extremely annoying. Contact support to get the ball rolling, but a few things to try in the meantime.

    1. Try to access your email from a different device
    2. Try a different browser
    3. Delete your cookies
    4. Check your spam folder
    5. Check your filters in settings to see if there is a possibility that ZOS is on your blacklist
    6. Try to change your email in your account settings, assuming you don't also need an access code for that change.
    7. Once you have an open dialogue with customer support, if none of the above have worked, see if you can have the email changed through support. Please make it very clear to support that you are not receiving access emails at all. Hopefully by now they realize this is a more common problem than it seems.

It is incredibly annoying to be locked out of your account for such a silly reason as not being able to receive an access code email but it can happen even if you do everything right on your end.

Nothing new. Ask customer support AKA whale retention department for changing your e-mail address (and hope the new mail service accepts mail from ZOS's servers) and then have the code re-sent.

    What is your e-mail provider?

Update: Found out where they were being sent to, like redspecter23 mentioned they were going into a different folder in email.
*feels a touch embarrassed now for not checking this before posting*
