Two Ad players were repeatedly throwing Dc players up into the resource tower.
They did 5 in a row and kept them in combat so they could not get unstuck. They could not log or recall -utter rubbish.

    Resource towers don't have doors anymore. Do you mean the keep tower?

    Also, it has to be a challenge to keep a player trapped in a building with no door to block their exit without actually killing them.

    I don't know what happened, I'm just guessing from the OP that people got stuck in the tower structure after being knocked up (giggity) by Meteor or Volcanic Rune.

    Were they using the warden skill that ports players? If so, I'd say it's just zos fault for not making sure the skill doesn't cause issues like this.
    If it is the warden skill, I'm surprised Zos didnt catch this with the extensive testing they do.

    It's a bug. If people are doing it deliberately and repeatedly, report them to ZOS.

    Meanwhile, you can escape while in combat by porting to IC and back to Cyro.

    Bad idea for OP to provide that information as it would just teach others how to use the exploit. Just makes sense to me and probably lead to forum moderator action.

    Man... literally thousands of people cheat in this game... You think people pulling top scores in pve dont have a tone of macros and scripts going to boost em (not everyone but a lot)? You think pvpers are scripting and everyone who can do max dps output while taking almost zero damage is playing fair haha?

    This game and every online game is riddled with cheaters... its what is expected when the avg person is a trash can when they get online...

    i just found a lot of cheaters on The Rift, really a lot.

    they are running in groups doing exactly the same movements and cleaning all resources from the region.

    it shouldn't be hard to find all those *** and ban them from the game.

    @NeKryXe those would be bots. They've been around and reported probably several thousand times.

    Many threads have been made about the bot problem. Although I have seen a reduction of bots, personally, but that is most likely due to the games pop dropping and the demand for gold sellers is decreasing

    2 extremes of the scale. Everyone vs No one. As usual, the truth is somewhere in between.

    There are people who macro and there are people who don't. We have no idea the actual numbers because ask anyone and they'll say 'not me'. But there are cheaters, there always are, let's not be naive.

    At the same time, constant accusation is also tiresome.
