Making enchants with alts vs making and breaking them with main character

I am trying to settle on what gives the most XP gain, and from what i am seeing currently, the difference may well be minimal, unlike what i've read..since however i am still of a low level i wanted to ask what you all would advise:

1. I craft on my main and immediately deconstruct them on my main
or
2. I craft them with a mule and go deconstruct them on my main

Reason why i am asking, is that crafting greens on my mule sure seems to give pretty much the same xp as my main gets from blowing them up afterwards. ie, if so, a waste of time really, might as well do it straight on my main and spare me the transfers and the relogs.

Has anyone a nice, solid little answer i could take to the bank? :)
Please refrain from expanding this into additional options (find a crafting partner, etc), as it will only be one of the two above for me.

With blacksmithing, clothing and woodworking, I trade between my main and an alt to get the most efficient skilling of those trades. I would do it with enchanting too, but for one thing: materials are not plentiful enough. You simply don't get enough aspect runes to make it work. The best bet is trying to buy glyphs from a guild store and sell your own to recoup the costs. I am having limited success with this, but the levels are still not flying up.

Install an addon the shows you the crafting xp in numbers and you can easily compare the numbers and see the facts

Isn't the gear you make link with you account name, not your chrachters name?

If you really want the max inspiration point for your main, the best i found so far is to find someone, ideally in one of your guild (trust issues) and trade glyph of the same potency lvl and same rarity lvl. That way you get the IP for making the glyph and for deconstructing an equivalent glyph.

Its pretty much the max IP per rune ratio i think. But it's still hard to find others that can make as many glyph of the same level as you.

its tagged with your character name. I haven't actually crafted with alts so I cant say with 100% certainty which way it works. I haven't spent time on the enchanting much yet still just gathering.

For woods, blacksmith and clothing though I quit trying to skill up by making and breaking. I just clear out my inventory and go kill stuff load up my inventory and then deconstruct and bank the mats on an alt and go out again. just keep doing that. deconstructing higher lvl gear gives you decent experience in the skill.
What I had saved up of the first two tiers of mats im just going to sell not even going to bother crafting stuff of low and mid lvl.

I can confirm that it's best to make enchants with your alt/s and then get your main to break them.

With my main I crafted an enchant with level 1 Runes that I had already "unlocked" (Notade, Kuoko, Ta), which gave me 77 XP, and then deconstructed this enchantment which gave a pitiful 22 XP, which adds up to 99 XP.

I then used an alt to craft the same enchantment with the same Runes, and then got my main to deconstruct this enchantment glyph, which gave my main 220 XP.

So there you have it, you get just over twice as much XP from deconstructing Enchantment Glyphs from other characters.

Any crafted item is linked to that character that crafted it and not to your account.
