Still having long load screens or getting "connection to server" timeout errors after patch

As title says I'm still having terrible load screens for character login and that's if I even get logged in. Usually I log in on one character and then I log out, try to log in on another character to grab more writs and then I just sit there til it times out (or I Alt+F4 to manually shut down the game). It just won't let me toon swap. *sigh*
