[BUG]s Persistent Guild Bank Problems

I've been having this problem with guild banks since Beta. I'm sure others have, and I know the entirety of my guild has. I'm assuming (like an idiot) that the Devs know about it. Considering this has been happening since Beta days, I'm at a loss as to why there has been no fix applied for it and even more surprised that no one from Zenimax has mentioned they were aware of it.

In any case...

Bug/Problem #1 Retrieving Items...

We all know it. When you open up a guild bank, you get the constant blue circle next to the Retrieving Items notification and the guild bank never loads. Some times it takes exiting out of the banker and talking to them again in order for everything in the guild bank to show up.

Sometimes it takes multiple attempts. Other times it takes switching to another guild bank (if you belong to more then 1 guild) in order for items to appear.

In any case, it's a problem that is persistent and often times makes accessing a guild bank a lesson in extreme patience, coupled with severe frustration.

Bug/Problem #2 Waiting on previous request...

This problem is no less frustrating. Especially when your guild bank(s) is/are 100% full and you need to remove items to re-stack them.

You're pulling items from a guild bank and you get the message "Waiting on previous request..." Or your PLACING items in a guild bank and you get the same message. In both cases, you have to wait...sometimes upwards of 10 or more seconds before you can continue to remove items or place items in the guild bank.

If you are in the process of reorganizing your guild bank due to space constraints, this problem makes that process all the more frustrating.

Now some of you may tell me that I should disable any Addons I may have running as one of them may be causing the problems I've described above.

I can assure you, as can others, that these issues are not the cause of Addons.

So now I ask the obvious question:

Does Zenimax KNOW about these problems and if so...is anyone even working on a fix for them?

It's been far FAR to long to have these issues still exist. Basic guild bank functionality should have been working when the game went live.

I think people are just used to this broken system; I personally just exist the guild bank and restart it.

ITS broken and annoying. It should be pointed out that people who really know how to design DBs correctly are few and far between and I suspect poor design is the cause of these problems and the why the inventory has the limitations it has.

Yup, definitely still seeing this issue, about 50% of the time when I go into the guild bank - which is not that common for me, fortunately. And yes, it's been an issue for a long time.

Yeah, the guilds I'm a member of has this issue with their guild banks as well. It is kind of annoying, yes. And, yeah, I just exit the banker altogether and come back in like the other posters have said.

Bug/Problem #2 Waiting on previous request...

Not had this issue yet, in my own experience. However, not running any add-ons.

/agree with stefan above. like a lot of the problems ingame, it's because of one of Z's fixes. and I still get both.

but with the waiting for previous request, it's usually when adding items too quickly to the gb. if you wait a few ticks before adding, it doesn't become a problem. same way with buying too quickly in succession from guild stores.

This issue really needs to be addressed!

I kinda put up with it when I was casually playing, but now that I am trying to manage a very active guild with a sub guild (because we have little guild management tools in this game to effectively do so with 1 guild) it is beyond frustrating and completely unacceptable to have this issue in the game after 1+ years of the game being active.

I constantly get lag with the guild banks. And I can wait forever or do all these methods and sometimes all I'll see is "deposit gold" and nothing else in the menu. When I know I'm allowed to do more than that in the guild. It makes it very frustrating and often times things I had planned on putting in the guild bank to share with others, on just end up scrapping because I can't put up with that kind of huge technical problem.

Why has ZOS not even acknowledged the problems with the guild bank and trader? As expensive as these traders are, they should at least respond with when these issues will be fixed.

Did ZOS adress (tried to adress) this problem meanwhile?
Sometimes i stand 15+minutes on my GBank to "maintain stuff" ... (like 10-45 seconds of waiting for next request)
