I need to create one of these items (Pack Leaders Bone Broth) for a witches day crafting writ but I can't find the recipe on guild traders and a Google search did not tell me where they drop from or from what.
Can someone in-the-know please advise.

Just a random drop from Plunder Skulls. There's no way to weight the odds in your favor, unfortunately. Just pray to RNGeezus, and kill as many bosses every 3 minutes that you can.5 -

It's not that rare. I literally found 6 gold recipes in about 130 skulls. That's not rare at all. On first day I was already giving away dupes of new ones.

Probably the same genius who thought it a good idea to have the recipe require a relatively rare ingredient that only comes from one location in the game, and a DLC dungeon at that (Fang Lair). One thing when it's only used as the style material for the style associated with that dungeon, another when it's needed for one of the best stamina foods in the game (and that makes Bone Pirate actually useful again, after they nerfed Dubious Camoran Throne into oblivion). It would have made sense for it to drop from the dragons in Elsweyr, but nope, never crossed their minds. (Because if it did then there wouldn't be such a steep shortage of it when dragon blood is so common).This creature called a songbird. What a devious creation! This winged nuisance erodes sanity with its incessant chirping. What a brilliant form of torture!2 -

Extreme rareness because you actually cannot even play the event. Servers down once more and after that you have to que to get in game. Then you suffer horrible loading screens so really you cannot get that many blunder skulls.1 -

My RNG is a lot better than you're thinking for these recipes. I probably have away over 2mi worth if recipes at this point, and sold another 500k worth already.
Made a bunch of guildies happy, so there's that.0
