That canned message at the top of the screen says nothing. No disrespect to the forum mods (so someone IS online), can someone who actually knows WTF is going on at least post something (..a little more descriptive than the generic message at the top). Otherwise that message starts to look a little like you're taking the p!$$

The EU servers are burning right now, I don't even see Nero ;P

    Seriously, this is the worst fail I ve ever seen in a MMO game. We are talking about a patch that was supposed to "improve" things and now everything is broken for a whole week. Today people could not log in, an emergency patch took place and serves broke down again within 1-2 hours.

    Whats going on with this game? Only in weekend I ve got enough free time to spend and today I ve played less than 1 hour.

    At least tell us what NA and EU means
    From what we experience NA server is short for Not Adequate server
    EU server can only mean Extremely Useless server

    Bad server performance for a week after patch, insulting prices for stuff in Crown store lately.

    I do wonder if ZoS intentionally want their game to fall badly!

    What do you expect them to say?
    That the issue cant be fixed? That until they implement the "cold storage" system the loads and processing will remain as they are now? That even these systems they intend to implement may not have the desired effect!?
    Because if they did that, if they told the truth, people would be even more pissed.

    Absolutely, for the current service to be this bad and them to ignore us and not share any information about what is happening is just disrespectful. This is now a far bigger issue than 'we are investigating an issue which is effecting some players'!

    I've been here before with other mmo's in the past, where they give no information besides a blanket message that they are looking into the cause of the issues. Given the time these issues have been going on for and how they just keep reoccuring, I can fully appreciate that it might take time for them to find a lasting solution. If it was something obvious and easy to fix you'd have thought it would have been sorted before now.

    That doesn't make the silence any easier to tolerate however, lack of information is a well documented source of significant discomfort for people with their imagination filling in the blanks or the silence leaving them with a feeling of being ignored and unvalued. Hopefully once ZOS have determined the cause of the problem they will give us some indication, even if they cannot/will not commit to an ETA on the solution.

    So ZOS, please, once you have some information, give us some information. Show people that you are actually doing something, rather than leaving them feeling unvalued and ignored.

    All said, we just have to hope that the protracted time this is taking might signify more intensive attempts to isolate the issue that has been plaguing PC-EU in particular recently rather than the piecemeal solutions that have been tried thusfar and have not provided lasting resolution.

    Dear ZoS,
    For the second time today, I can't log in, I get various error messages. I know the server is struggling with the number of players and I know there's a banner on the forums saying you're aware of some issues...but it's been like this for a week now and we're all getting a bit tired of this sort of issue on PC EU. How much money do you get from the EU players each month in ESO+ subscriptions? It's gotta be millions. Why can't you instantly throw a chunk of that money on improving the server infrastructure? If it's just not that simple, explain to us in detail why that is the case! I get that you have improvements scheduled to run this quarter and next, but can you go on the forums and explain to us all exactly what the problems are and why it takes *such* a long time to even attempt to address them? Please?

    I really like this game and just wanna be able to play it!

    Communication is not needed. Closing and deleting works well.

    Influx compensates veterans leaving.

    They're going to milk the game for as much as they possibly can. The server improvements are only a cost reduction attempt. I don't think performance will improve to the degree we all want it to. The game is amazing, but it's not going to improve. This is my opinion. Take it or leave it.

    Why bother??? All they want is money. I came back to play again and brought 6 other friends with me. We had fun until this crappy event and guess what... everyone is thinking about leaving already. We have only played for 2 weeks. GJ zos. I even convinced them to get the ESO+

    Please pull your heads out of the place where the sun doesn't shine and fix this. Pay extra to the ones that actually are trying to fix it. they deserve it more than the rest of you.

    If they say anything it will be picked apart and yelled at for not being enough.
    If they say nothing they will be simply told to communicate.

    If you had to choose... which would you pick?
    The reality is when something is wrong with your product and you are unable to fix it quickly these are your two choices. You will never get a positive outcome so you will "choose the one that comes with the least amount of death threats".

    What do you expect them to say?

    I want them to publish their plan to compensate paying customers for undelivered product. Occasional downtime is understandable, but we've gone way beyond that. As far as I see it, until that compensation had happened they owe me, and I can't buy anything further from a business which has no intention to settle their debts.

    Communication is a massive issue for ZOS on these forums, look how long it took them to address the Oceanic performance issues. Hell there’s a thread with nearly 1,500 posts that pops on the first page every now and then about that very issue, it took well over a 1000 of those pages to get any kind of response and even then it was a token response.

    Simply not good enough, it really isn’t.
