There are a lot of negative opinions about ZeniMax on this forum but nobody says anything positive about ZeniMax and what they have done, so I dedicate this post to thanking ZeniMax. Say anything you can think positive about ZeniMax under this topic. I love you ZeniMax and thank you for this beautiful work of art called Elder Scrolls Online.

TESO is the only thing I have played in the last 5 years, I just made a pasue to play Zelda BOTW.

I like the game, a lot.

But love him? no no.

My love is reserved for my daughter, my mother, my wife and beer...

in that order.

The fact that ZOS didn't give up on ESO when it was such a critical failure is already worth praising.

I'm also very happy to see that ESO has never missed any quarter patch/DLC.

And even though some balance changes take so damn long to come out, I'm just happy that at least they have come out, like the change to proc meta, snare meta, heal stacking meta, heavy armor meta (which is arguable), PVE AOE DOTs meta, PVE single target DOTs meta (which is the result of killing AOE DOTs meta, I know it's funny af), PVE petsorc meta, PVE stamDK stack meta, PVE necro stack meta, etc.

The art team and level designers have my respect because they've made this game look amazing but the people in charge of combat design are destroying this game.

1) The vast majority of players (in the PC EU community at least) are incredibly kind, friendly and thoughtful people which is the overwhelming reason why i've stuck with the game through the bad times and the really bad times.

2) The Crown Store never has any problems and if there is an issue with it then it is fixed within a few hours (if not minutes).

I tried my best to think of positive points. And I don't ever use the Crown Store unless something is free.

The sound people do fantastic work. Huge fan of the soundscapes and the music in ESO. The voice acting is less consistently awesome, but every single interaction being voiced is something I miss a lot when I play other MMOs that don't prioritize audio.

Three positives i can think of off hand from least impact to most impact to me:

3) Crafting is actually useful and not a waste of time. I am so disappointed with crafting in these types of games usually because i love to craft but crafted items just are not that good when compared to drops. In ESO, crafted gear is not only good but often good enough to use end game in most circumstances.

2) The vast open world. This is one of my favorite things about the Elder Scrolls in general is how big the game world is.

1) The story lines. Now i am not big on story lines. Ill listen to them sometimes ( i have a character that i play when i want to listen to/read all dialog). But the story lines is what hooked my wife on playing and she is not a gamer at all. She likes reading the stories and playing through them. This is the only video game she plays with me and that is in large part because of the stories and quests and NPCS that entertain her.

Wife's Honorable Mention: She also likes how much there is to do. She can quest, or kill stuff when she feels murdery ( she has an affinity for the murdering of harpies and also imps, which she calls boy harpies), collect stuff, fish, or play with housing.

I think there is nothing wrong with loving this MMO or even it's parent company. As long as you also hold them accountable when they screw up.

I'm talking about actual issues...not the outrage mob that plays the forums more than they do the game.

Maintenance every hour and even on Saturday, server lag, poor game optimization, endless loading screens every 5 meters, sladgehammer / rollercoaster skills changes, PvP macro users, bunnyhopers and all that ...

The game consists not only graphics and visual. If the core is broken, everything else doesn't metter.
People paying for sub (after last patch not so manny of them lol) and they want proper services which not provided. I dont see where i can say "thank you" to ZOS.

Well, I may say I respect those people in ZOS who still are doing their best, trying to keep game as good as possible, despite obvious insufficient budget from Bethesda and toxic feedback and lack of appreciation on official forum. With all the nerfs/performance problems all improvements are missed. I'll just list some of the recent:

- UI became better this year;
- sprint changes are nice;
- new outfits are amazing in terms of quality of textures and details;
- 2 minutes on instance end is very good for new players to finish quests in dungeons;
- community managers are actually gathering and providing our feedback to devs. I may say I pushed and whined for 3 minor bugs and all 3 bugs are fixed at the moment. Yes, they were small bugs and didn't received attention immediately, but they are fixed now, which is proof for me that somebody actually reads all our comments and sends feedback to development department, thanks;
- memory patch is good for me and for many people I heard positive feedback about lag/fps. Yeah, this week servers are overloaded and there is literal hell, but when I can login and play, performance is best from what I saw in last 9 months;
- balance changes for PVE despite huge pendulum and drama are not bad, most classes landed pretty close in this patch and with Elsweyr numbers. Yeah stamcro is still BiS and magplar fell behind, but other then that every class is viable and dps difference very small. Also with dots nerf class abilities are back to bars. I'll reduce cost of blockade/hail in 30-40% and buff lightning flood to level of other class aoes and PVE balance will be good;
- new sets and rework of old sets creates place for theorycrafting, when performance problems will be fixed..

I agree. The service is garbage they have a whole bunch of players on EU that can't even play. Such a WONDERFUL job Zos, you're not killing it you killed it.

My character looks good. Oh, that one is on me. Let me think...Sotha Sil looks good. No, he was invented before ESO. Well, Clockwork City must be the most awesome place I've ever seen in any game. Picking alchemy materials is fun. That's about it.

I'm actually offended by this OP, and I'm not easaly offended. Such a lovely show of empathy...FOR POOR ZOS.

I've found a number of subliminal images in those loading screens.... especially the Summerset and Vvardednfell ones. And once you see that stuff, it's impossible to unsee!

Zos as a company is very social, they are putting themselves down to make other companies like EA shine in a good light. Very generous to take one "for the team". Killing it.
