You guys at ZOS would do well to go full crisis mode for the next few weeks and fix this game

Don't worry they're aware of it and working on it. It just works, guys.

This is a question I've never found an answer to, and I've been through a lot of them.

That's it... Fix this crap. I love the game but pushing a regular update on the weekend to fix something that should not be broken to begin with? And this happens every single update.

Change your stance from "business as usual" to "Armageddon is here" if you wanna save this game.

A maintenance of 4h on Saturday is not just disruptive, it's infuriating. It's frustrating beyond belief!

Honestly... You guys keep going with this entitled behavior, "it just works" or "we're killing it" and you'll go the way of the dodo soon. I don't want this to happen, I love this game so much.

But housing & CS works just fine.

Hemorrhaging old customers is not healthy for a company that wants to stay in business. Those new customers will one day be old customers. A wise and successful company, one would think, would try to find a balance between gaining new customers and maintaining old ones.

I have a brain of my own and critical thinking, I don't move with the masses. I don't hate just because, and I don't praise just because.

You should try doing that too :)

So when others have criticism, is overreacting, when it's you, it's critical thinking.

    Some fine double-standards right there.

It does make you wonder what the point of 5 weeks of PTS testing actually was.

Either these problems were evident (and ignored), or the testing regime is not fit for purpose.

You can’t continually release duff, half arsed products and expect there to be no consequences. You can’t keep having the same old rehashed events when you know they are going to crush your servers, bring the game down and thoroughly p*** off your entire playerbase.

You can imagine the planning meeting that goes, “well after a lamentable track record of server failure, shutdowns and disruption following the launch of any single event or content, we’re going to try launching a new DLS, hosting one of the most popular events and introducing performance updates in the same week”. What c***hat thought that that would be a good idea?

The really shocking thing is that no one on PC EU is at all surprised by this turn of events.

PTS was a total ghost town for the first 3 weeks because the DoT changes were so obviously stupid that no one even bothered testing them.

Realistically we had about a 10-day PTS period this time around. The final two weeks had delayed releases, failed account copies, and maintenance downtime.

ZOS is doing a horrible job all around right now.

There are actually still people bothering to play on the PTS and offering feedback, when almost everyone knows ZOS couldn't care less about any sort of feedback?

Edit: nothing screams "quality product" than having to push a hotfix on a weekend to fix an issue ZOS constantly claimes to have fixed I don't know how often(login issues, permanent loading screens, server load due to events etc.).

Yes. I second this. What's the point of having a PTS at this point? Feedback is pretty much ignored. The PTS apparently does nothing to help cut down on bugs. One would think that zos would utilize such a thing more, but they are failing to do so. Using the PTS is more about zos saying, "we are doing this regardless, so consider this a preview, but your feedback is irrelevant. You have bugs? What a shame, might as well roll with them because actually addressing these bugs isn't a priority. Just keep paying us even though we are doing this without any compensation. Yes eso plus members, thanks for the monthly funds. No you can't login today. No you aren't going to be re-reimbursed anything for the week you can't login." (<- This is pretty much it in a nutshell.) Imagine if your landlord took your rent money and said, "oh you payed me for a month and even though you live here, you can't stay here half the time. Tough luck and your rent is going up." Well i think I've said my peace. Even if said peace will cause anger or cause devs to be insulted. Lets see if my post gets removed ^.^

The EU server has basically been down since the patch went live on Monday. I'm guessing today's maintenance was an attempt to apply some bandaid fix to that.

They've been attempting to band-aid something that needs surgery, tbh.

Judging by your videos, you are still subbed. Like, I suspect, many others. It is even worse than @nryerson1025 thinks, new players do not just replace old players quitting because of poor performance, they add up, because old players are simply not quitting. They are vocal on forums, but will not quit in numbers. And mods can take care of forums. So yes, it is the solution.

This post is relevant again. Time to get it closed? Moderation is hard at work keeping us shut exactly when devs decide to be communicating more. Let's be honest, we've been kept updated through this mess... But we can't talk about it. Shhhh... Or they'll "consolidate" the posts. They KNOW no one will read through 20 pages of replies, and any complaints will be just in the void of some other post

GFJ, moderation... Backstabbing poor Gina who will get all the heat for "lack of communication" when she's honestly trying...

    Bye guys.
