Servers were never good enough, for years Cyrodiil was unplayable when it was crowded and still is, now we can't even login. Yet they're still trying to save money by not upgrading the servers. They only fix issues when they start losing players. Priority is adding new stuff to crownstore, fixing issues was never their priority.
I wonder what they do with my money other than releasing an update nobody asked for and breaking the game. I don't know what happened to zos but their stinginess will be the end of this game.
Stop creating new content and fix the game first...

It will be interesting to revisit this topic after Dragon Age 4 and Elders Scrolls VI come out. Place your bets now for which series will be wrecked harder and more definitively.

i am pretty cautious at this point with regards to TES VI after seeing Fallout 76...or do you have any doubt that they will try to nickel and dime the community horse armor style? The best thing that could happen to fallout and elder scrolls if microsoft bought the franchise and gave it to obsidian...
Honestly, no other mmo i play or see has the same issues - which tells me the problem is structural - e.g. caused by the mega server structure... same with all the skill change that try to ease performance on the server...
I think this mega server structure is the issue and therefore we will not see a real improvement of performance...maybe a slow down of its decay
