Mount Sprinting

I am aware that sprinting, both for mounts and characters, was changed in U24. As per the patch notes, "Like on-foot sprint, mounts will now stop sprinting when their Stamina is fully drained. However, we’ve decreased the Stamina cost of mounted sprint and greatly increased both base Stamina and base Recovery for mounts."

However, I've noticed on all my characters that when I press sprint, my horse sprints briefly, then slows down to just above a normal speed. I have to release sprint and then press the button again and sprint in little bursts rather than a full sprint for the duration of my stamina. On foot, this behavior is not present so I am wondering if this is intended for mounts or a bug.

It's present in the game since... ages. It used to cost more stamine to "burst" sprint like that on mount, now its hard to tell, but it's nothing new.
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

Odd that I never noticed that before. Not a fan, for sure, especially since 'sprinting' is definitely not sprinting once they slow down especially since there is barely a discernible difference now between sprinting and regular running on mounts.
