Maintenance for the week of December 22:
• NA megaservers for maintenance – December 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – December 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)

Does ZOS realise grammar is used to highlight importance?

When you list 2 or more objects or concepts in a single sentence and the order is not Alphabetical and not a known set of items like "knife and Fork" it indicates that the first object is more important than the 2nd.
For instance "PC-NA and PC-EU" means that the PC-NA server is significantly more important than PC-EU. I can't be the only one triggered by this?

Proper grammar stopped after the internet started. It's why I chose to build cars instead of teach. I wouldn't be able to handle grading papers with all the nonsense that's accepted now. It's sad, really.

Both are known set of items from ZOS perspective, servers that cover the whole world.

Then if we change it to PC-EU and PC-NA again someone is triggered because now EU seems to be more important. Do you understand how ridicilous all this is? No matter how you put them, the other one has to be first in a sentence. If you get triggered by that, then that problem is entirely in your head and you need more pressing problems in your life.

And I'm EU player if that matters.

The difference is that putting EU first in such a situation would not place any grammatical emphasis. Perceived emphasis? Sure, you can never avoid that. If this was said during a live stream or something I would have also disregard it because it can be attributed personal preference and such.

But putting it in this order in a post flagged in Dev Tracker, pinned to the top of a forum section and then locked makes it a very official looking statement. It is highly likely that when they spoke of the post they referred to the servers instead as American and European in which case it would have been fine. But these types of oversights can potentially lead to major incidents.

If you also further take into account that a large portion of the EU server feels like ZOS does not really care about it (some of the discussions I have heard in discord after patch day were... Bad...) this is a point where such oversights can snowball out of proportion rapidly.

My aim is to prevent such a case, not start it.

No, you just changed it to the American spelling.

Well I feel it will be taken more seriously this way for some reason...

I say "salt and pepper," but I think pepper is more important than salt.

Ergo, either your supposition is wrong, or I'm bass ackwards. Either explanation works for me. :)

The extra period at the end of your sentence implies that you were trailing off in a judgemental tone.

I get triggered when people get all judgy.

I'm going to go listen to some of my music to calm down. But you should know that you just ruined someone's day.

How dare you accuse me of being judgemental! I am so triggered right now. I was merely being pensieve!

This discussion is not about grammar, because either word order would be equally correct. If anything, it is about syntax, or syntactic clues.
