To the developer who invented the block puzzles in Dragonhold questline

I don't think the OP was referring to the difficulty.
In my experience I found these puzzles annoying because of the clunky way of moving the boxes. Light attacks are fine for short distances, but sometimes the whole process bugged out, I could not LA, I was stuck in combat, no weapon showing, etc. My biggest complaint is with the long distances I had to light attack the box. A pushing animation would have been better (LA is fine for small pushes).
An other solution would have been to use the grappling bow for pulling the box.[PC/EU] Tamriel Hero, Stormproof, Grand Master Crafter7 -

You can also use heavy attacks for a bigger push. I did have one bug out on me and had to reset it.0 -

✭✭✭✭It's a PITA. I'm in the forums now instead of the game because I just knocked another block a millimetre too far, it won't move back, and I have to reset the whole thing back to the beginning, again

Right? I was in a situation where I couldn't target the block at all, and I was almost at my goal, only needed maybe two hits. I tried and tried, I even resetted it once and at the same spot my staff refused to target it again. What do you know, it was because there was a WOODEN BEAM inside the box because the boxes don't have collision at all so I didn't even see the damn thing being there.
There is nothing difficult in those puzzles, they are just so frieking annoying. I don't know if I can ever put another poor character through that. I like my characters.1 -

Wondered about the second box I saw until the end
Grinding just make you go in circles.

From someone who enjoys alts, and doing quests again and again THESE are definitely going into the SKIP pile.
We are not 10 year olds playing Mario... this is NOT fun... absolutely LAZY.
Working on (hopefully) the last I see of these &!"£*$^ things now, and have switched my staff for a 2h sword so I can pretend I am beating down whomever decided these bloody things were a good idea -_-

Welcome variation on the existing puzzles, also using grappling bow for the overview saved a lot of walking. :P0 -

✭✭I had no problem with the block puzzles... but then again... like the grappling hook.. I had plenty of experience playing the Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time game. I assume that particular Dev who designed these elements is also a fan.Far too many characters to list any more.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I haven't done any of the puzzles yet, but I guess you can't do anything with them unless you've started a quest? I visited the locations while doing my "first run around the new zone and map everything" trips through Southern Elsweyr, and there were a bunch of players standing around at the puzzles, but I couldn't interact with anything-- I guess because I hadn't spoken with a quest-giver yet?I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

Grandma✭✭✭✭✭it wasn't the difficulty. it wasn't the clumsy movement.
it was that the puzzle wasn't even real. When I did it, particularly the second part with the grapple hook, none of the gates actually stopped the cubes from going straight through them. my friend and i sat there for like 10 minutes trying to figure it out and nothing would work because all the cubes were locked up and we tried everything until i just tried to swat one through the door and then it went straight through. it wouldn't let my character do it, but the cube sailed through. so we were able to cheese the whole puzzle [all the doors operated this way regardless of if we had activated the door or not]GH / 3/04/2021 / Elemental Catalyst Necromancer2 -
